Not if its only the weapon, there you'll just see it when the mobs just won't die except the other dps is a good player who carries the undergeared one. But in general you are right, a little look at the hp pool tells you most of the time all that you need to know.
That moment when the healer has the most HP in the party.
I AM THE TANK NOW!
IIRC RIFT had a checker where you had to have a certain stat to join certain dungeons. I.E. Tanks had to have so much vitality. If no ilvl is require a certain main stat should be.

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
Ha you wish. There are enough healers and tanks that get carried through the content exactly like this. I've seen it all.
Sorry SenorPatty but this is not true. There are enough complains about undergeared dps the problem is just that you see it instantly if a tank or healer is undergeared like this, for dps it needs a moment longer.
I know, I know. I agree it's all across the board with ya. I was just making the point that the ones that usually are the first to say "I did this (insert content here) no probs. I don't see a problem)" are the dps. Not just from a population perspective but also as you said, it just doesn't show up as much as tank or healer.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
Honestly, I don't know why people would queue into the likes of The Vault to grind up experience, Adventurer Squadrons do it faster and for a much higher Experience Yield.
With Squadmates, I've beaten The Vault in augmented ironworks (plus a Sohm Ahl ring) enough times to get the full set in hopes of levelling alts to 60. That first run will always be scary because of Holy Shield Bash, but as long as you do stuff right (and the AI behaves on the final boss), it's plausible.
... now, all that said. I have no problem with an iLevel requirement, as long as it isn't so harsh that it makes it impossible to keep up.
People that probably don’t know about Squadrons, don’t have them leveled high enough to do The Vault with them, or don’t care to utilize them. Personally, I would rather queue into the dungeons directly over using a Squadron—but I would never do so blatantly undergeared.

Squadrons didn't exist when I leveled to 60. HoH didnt exist when I leveled to 70, potd didn't exist when I leveled to 50.Honestly, I don't know why people would queue into the likes of The Vault to grind up experience, Adventurer Squadrons do it faster and for a much higher Experience Yield.

Alright, fair. It's a big time investment, but it does pay off. I just wish it wasn't *such* a time investment, then they wouldn't need to bring us the Trust system to do what's already there. ... I still don't know why people who *could* do it wouldn't, since it has a higher exp yield and kill speed. You don't mass pull in levelling dungeons.People that probably don’t know about Squadrons, don’t have them leveled high enough to do The Vault with them, or don’t care to utilize them. Also a fair point. I only genuinely started chasing levelling alts when those were brought in. It's a lot easier when you don't have to balance everything at a pre-endgame level.
The Vault is a mildly annoying AS dungeon without being actually terrible (Brayflox Longstop Hard is a good example of where adventurer squadrons fall apart). The ambushes will only ever be triggered by you, so if you aren't the tank, you'll have a lot of problems with all but one of the incoming adds beelining for you. Fists of Earth actually became relevant thanks to this place. I also learnt which enemies I can Engage the squadron on without them engaging on me, to ease the process.I'm going to happily queue into The Vault with my Squadron as soon as they're levelled enough to do so.Raising my PLD & WAR there was a truly miserable experience. I'm still not confident in my tanking abilities yet, so I'm sure I have lots of room to improve, but I have the worst luck in that place with the parties I get. So many undergeared players and bad attitudes all around.

Urgh memories of these weirdos come up. xDI know, I know. I agree it's all across the board with ya. Yeah thats why we need the min ilvl and i can only hope that the responsible people from SE finaly understand why and implement it.
