Usually the give away is their hp pool i used to main hlr so its second nature as i enter a dungeon to look at hp pools to see if anything is wrong ie too low hp or too high with vit accessories on dps/hlrs etc very very rarely do i ever see the latterHa you wish. There are enough healers and tanks that get carried through the content exactly like this. I've seen it all.
Sorry SenorPatty but this is not true. There are enough complains about undergeared dps the problem is just that you see it instantly if a tank or healer is undergeared like this, for dps it needs a moment longer.
Guy butt is best butt <3
Not if its only the weapon, there you'll just see it when the mobs just won't die except the other dps is a good player who carries the undergeared one. But in general you are right, a little look at the hp pool tells you most of the time all that you need to know.

That moment when the healer has the most HP in the party.
I AM THE TANK NOW!
IIRC RIFT had a checker where you had to have a certain stat to join certain dungeons. I.E. Tanks had to have so much vitality. If no ilvl is require a certain main stat should be.

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

I know, I know. I agree it's all across the board with ya. I was just making the point that the ones that usually are the first to say "I did this (insert content here) no probs. I don't see a problem)" are the dps. Not just from a population perspective but also as you said, it just doesn't show up as much as tank or healer.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
Urgh memories of these weirdos come up. xDI know, I know. I agree it's all across the board with ya. Yeah thats why we need the min ilvl and i can only hope that the responsible people from SE finaly understand why and implement it.
Part of the problem is you just level too fast, so ppl never farm dungeons and actually gather gear... you see many times ppl not bother to loot despite it actually being an large improvement...
Speaking of i just did RIdorana with an heal having 13k less hp then the other heal, had full 290 left side besides the waist wich was 360... he died so much... ... ..
Honestly, I don't know why people would queue into the likes of The Vault to grind up experience, Adventurer Squadrons do it faster and for a much higher Experience Yield.
With Squadmates, I've beaten The Vault in augmented ironworks (plus a Sohm Ahl ring) enough times to get the full set in hopes of levelling alts to 60. That first run will always be scary because of Holy Shield Bash, but as long as you do stuff right (and the AI behaves on the final boss), it's plausible.
... now, all that said. I have no problem with an iLevel requirement, as long as it isn't so harsh that it makes it impossible to keep up.
