I get where MrKimper is coming from, they just happened to pick a very eyebrow-raising image for the compare, anyway...

I'm sure 'Ronso-like' race would certainly tickle someone's fancy. Still interested in how that's going to be like without straying into Miqote territory. I still can't imagine it being that beast like in appearance.

I'm not going to argue that them being 'beast' like wouldn't make sense - if anything it's going to lead to some hilarious cutscenes with people screaming about beast men and wanting them dead and WoL is just 'Lul, okay - just not me, okay?' Or them talking to Imperials and not one of them taking a potshot. That cutscene with the emperor is going to have me snort. Nah, can't see them being that beast like.

Just lumping my responses into one post and too lazy to quote each one. Someone in the previous page posted about legality. and I'm trying to say that your points are ridiculous. That's all. You're saying most people who want Ronso are furries, and that's just not true lol. I think both bunny men believers and people who want a lion race would be niche in this game, since most people play female toons anyway.

It's something like 60/40, I believe. You only really see female au ra and viera significantly outnumbering the males (and male au ra still outnumber male elezen and roegadyn.) On aggregate, there's more female toons, but that's all down to existing options and doesn't apply consistently across each race. So, while one male option could garner say 10% of played toons, the other might garner 5%.

I believe the metric in question cuts those out, given the criteria it applies for "active characters". You'll see a much higher number of male hyur if you look at total characters, though.

What looks cute depends on the person. For example, I find Galka adorable, yet others see them as ugly for whatever reason. I also find Ronso to be adorable.

Meanwhile, I find races like Au Ra, Miqo'te and Viera to be extremely boring and not cute at all.

I think actual furries would disagree with you here, I mean, that's why they dress up in full FUR SUITS and not just CAT EARS. It's also why people with ANIMAL ears are referred to as Kemomomimi and not Kemono in japanese, they are two completely different things, with miqo'te, au ra and yes viera falling into the Kemomomimi category rather than the Kemono category.
