Gender locked race?

Would the Japanese have the cojones to call them out in a q&a if they genderlock? I'm sure yoshi would ignore it unless asked. Even then he might sidestep it like in Paris

Well it looks like they saved resources by not making another open world traveling feature like swimming or flying, and were so far ahead in developing new jobs that Blue Mage was released early. They've had more than enough time to make not only a full Viera race but also a full race of whatever Hrothgar turns out to be. I'd rather sacrifice that beast race than allow them to get away with gender locking one of the most requested races seen 2.0 though. If you want to be a beast so much we literally already have male Miqote and Hellsguard Roegadyn which both can easily look like any animal you want. As for Viera we have no way of replicating neither their unique ears nor their feet, which tbh would be more "diverse" than adding another cat to the game.

Blue mage was actually delayed, it was going to be out a patch sooner initially from what I hear.

It's also not a regular job but more of a mini game, not really a full job on the same level as red mage/gunbreaker etc, it doesn't seem to me like it was planned for 5.0 and released early just because they could. It was planned to be patch content for late SB.

There are literally bunny ears for men that were asked for for YEARS. What are you even talking about anymore lol. No race in game can be made to look like a beast. Any elf with the bunny ears can be made to look like a bunny boy.

Seeing how cute and elegant the female Viera are makes me want to play a male Viera even more. Can't wait for the next 1000 page thread of us asking and Yoshi-P refusing because of his personal tastes.
