Hello! This is Producer/Director Yoshida.
Thanks so much for all the encouraging words, as always!
As you have been pointing out, I am quite tired, but I have looked over the entire forum and I quickly created a patch 1.20 adjustment plan, not only for the Moogle fight.
Tomorrow morning first thing we will be finalizing the specs and begin work on adjustment implementation, so we are trying our best to bring you patch 1.20a so you can all enjoy the game more.
Thanks so much for all the feedback and encouraging words. Even the opinions that sound harsh, I believe it’s because of the love for FFXIV, so I will continue to do my best!Hello! This is Producer/Director Yoshida.
I mentioned this yesterday, but I have put together the base adjustment plans, so we are planning to address this after further discussion tomorrow morning.
I’m going to try and be as quick as possible, so please hang in there.Hello! This is Producer/Director Yoshida.
We have adjusted all of the content specs first thing this morning, and each development lead is working on implementation. We will be performing our related checks today and tomorrow QA will make their checks and adjustments.
From tomorrow on we will be continuing work on 1.20a along with other items, so I will be sure to let you all know about any progress.

I dunno, the trees made the zone come alive to me. It was the first time in this game that I felt truly immersed. Well, except maybe for the curious goat parades during leves
I would be sad to see them go/get severely dumbed down.
That's not to say I think we should have to get the drops constantly. Maybe place a time limit on the drops, say 24 hours of mog killing before the NM's get the ward up again.
My only complaint(s) with the way it was set up was that the mobs that wander around(Not the spriggans because if your doing it right you can avoid those but like the wolves/birds/raptors) can still link with the trees. The other which could be considered the same thing is that on the morbol(And potentially the other NMs) you either have to wait forever for the trees to back off or have a martyr(because they also link with trees).
The walking and avoid the spriggans gave this a new twist to the game that didn't exist before where you just run to x,y pos and kill NM now it's sort of like an open world mini dungeon to get to the NMs. Finally at least on my server on a number of the NMs we actually had teamwork where everyone(2+ parties who needed the kill) would team up on the NMs to kill them really fast and then help the rest of the groups too instead of just fighting over the kills!
100% agree, but i might consider making it every few days, just because it can take a few hours with inexperienced players.I dunno, the trees made the zone come alive to me. It was the first time in this game that I felt truly immersed. Well, except maybe for the curious goat parades during leves

I don't have a problem with either of these items, the thing that makes me tear my hair out is getting aggroed by a random mob who then instantly links with a tree and you die. That's it, in many cases I have died before I knew there was a mob that would aggro me. The second problem is you start running with your weapon out even if you are set to walk. Why? If I want to walk then I want to walk.
Changing these two things would make the small NM fights just that little bit easier.
I think they translated it wrong, allow me..Thanks so much for all the feedback and encouraging words. Even the opinions that sound harsh, I believe it’s because of the love for FFXIV, so I will continue to do my best!

I'm not sure ppl have stated this already but why cant they just have the key items stackable? So ppl can farm multiple items and pop him multiple times. When I explained the my friend who plays 11 about moogle he instinctively thought of sky. Why not doing like that but instead of drops of nm being items to use to pop the gods/kirin why not just have em stackable key items. Honesty farming the nms are actually pretty fun specially if you come with friends. But farming it then killing moogle then farming it then killing moogle then farming it then killing moogle isnt fun. You pretty much lose all reason for the 15min cooldown for ppl to have breaks. Your pretty much forcing them to go crazy at it every time. What happend to being casual? I understand elite groups clearing those nms maybe possible in less than 15min. I may be wrong but that means your only doing this fight for those few ppl who will leave the content anyways after they ran through all the moogle content which would be less than a month. Make it casual friendly without lowering the difficulty.
I'm glad Yoshi-P doesn't take other players' harsh words negatively. I'm very happy with the development and adjustments in general, I hope they stay motivated.Originally Posted by Yoshi-P

LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
(Marvelous economics IQ test!)
The same as always...dev team screw up, he comes, apologize, say he's human or that he's tired and then they screw up even more. 1.18 was terrible, 1.19 worse than 1.18 and now 1.20 even worse than 1.19.
Seems like the dev team X-Mas will actally be just as good as the playerbase...drinking and getting miserable while looking how the game die day after day.
One week for SWTOR, 3 weeks for billing...i guess even if they pull jobs to 1.20a the game might not start 2012 much better than it is now. Bringing names of actions, places, mechanics, some old icons and animations will not make the game better...maybe if Yoshida actually had knowledge regarding FF he would be able to look foward instead of being so worried about past games.
Play SWTOR in 2012. Look at FFXIV as a novelty until 2.0. Rejudge FFXIV in 2013.The same as always...dev team screw up, he comes, apologize, say he's human or that he's tired and then they screw up even more. 1.18 was terrible, 1.19 worse than 1.18 and now 1.20 even worse than 1.19.
