Hello! This is Producer/Director Yoshida.
Thanks so much for all the encouraging words, as always!
As you have been pointing out, I am quite tired, but I have looked over the entire forum and I quickly created a patch 1.20 adjustment plan, not only for the Moogle fight.
Tomorrow morning first thing we will be finalizing the specs and begin work on adjustment implementation, so we are trying our best to bring you patch 1.20a so you can all enjoy the game more.
Thanks so much for all the feedback and encouraging words. Even the opinions that sound harsh, I believe it’s because of the love for FFXIV, so I will continue to do my best!Hello! This is Producer/Director Yoshida.
I mentioned this yesterday, but I have put together the base adjustment plans, so we are planning to address this after further discussion tomorrow morning.
I’m going to try and be as quick as possible, so please hang in there.Hello! This is Producer/Director Yoshida.
We have adjusted all of the content specs first thing this morning, and each development lead is working on implementation. We will be performing our related checks today and tomorrow QA will make their checks and adjustments.
From tomorrow on we will be continuing work on 1.20a along with other items, so I will be sure to let you all know about any progress.

The same as always...dev team screw up, he comes, apologize, say he's human or that he's tired and then they screw up even more. 1.18 was terrible, 1.19 worse than 1.18 and now 1.20 even worse than 1.19.
Seems like the dev team X-Mas will actally be just as good as the playerbase...drinking and getting miserable while looking how the game die day after day.
One week for SWTOR, 3 weeks for billing...i guess even if they pull jobs to 1.20a the game might not start 2012 much better than it is now. Bringing names of actions, places, mechanics, some old icons and animations will not make the game better...maybe if Yoshida actually had knowledge regarding FF he would be able to look foward instead of being so worried about past games.

Play SWTOR in 2012. Look at FFXIV as a novelty until 2.0. Rejudge FFXIV in 2013.The same as always...dev team screw up, he comes, apologize, say he's human or that he's tired and then they screw up even more. 1.18 was terrible, 1.19 worse than 1.18 and now 1.20 even worse than 1.19.

Wow thats really a dark way of looking at things...and the content/adjustments added so far have been no where near terrible. Also as far as SWTOR goes, alot of people are saying it just feels like WoW except in the Star Wars universe. Besides, alot of the current players are happy with the changes, and most people interested are looking forward to future updates even if they arent playing. The man is human, and as always things require a little more tweaking after release...but as far as team screw ups? Not in the least bit. Kinda over exaggerating. The same as always...dev team screw up, he comes, apologize, say he's human or that he's tired and then they screw up even more. 1.18 was terrible, 1.19 worse than 1.18 and now 1.20 even worse than 1.19.

And the bolded section really makes no sense. Most of the player base will either be still attempting Ifrit, messing around with dungeons, tribe strongholds and moogles. There are a decent amount of returning players that arent level 50 yet and have alot to do.

Interesting that AFAIK WoW is a successful MMO and star wars is a even stronger brand than Warcraft or FF...So you really think only FF has blind fanboys that would buy it just by the game name? Nop, it's not. SW has a hell of a fanatic fanbase. Also as far as SWTOR goes, alot of people are saying it just feels like WoW except in the Star Wars universe.
Oh, yeah...this is why from the said 30k current active players (rounding up the numbers ppl counted at other topics) the number of likes of changes never go past 750-800. That's ~2.5% of playerbase openly supporting the changes. Also, ppl being happy with the changes even if they aren't playing? The level of stupidity of this phrase is absurd! a) If they were happy they would be playing. b) It's expected from someone to try a feature before liking it...and they're not playing so...Besides, alot of the current players are happy with the changes, and most people interested are looking forward to future updates even if they arent playing.
Oh, Yeah!! How could i forget those 750k players that quit because they wanted to pay to play, only coming back when billing start! My bad! There are a decent amount of returning players that arent level 50 yet and have alot to do.
If you really support the game you should be pointing the flaws, not praising the effort...and when 2.0 time comes and the game fail again, blame yourself and the other white knight fanboys whose always "praised the effort" and made they think the game was good.

I vote for Naoki Yoshida for the Republican Presidential Nomination.
