Gender locked race?

Except it really doesn't. No more than any of the games you listed. We know we are going to the greatwood and that's it. Other games have gone to Viera woods and villages and never encountered a male Viera and neither could we if our story takes us there. There could easily be something more pressing that has occupied the male viera elsewhere that we'd never see. There's tons of story hooks they could use to justify us not seeing any despite being in their home. Just because you wouldn't like the result of how it might be written because you're personally invested in male viera doesn't mean it's crap writing lol.

The other games didn't have both male and female Viera living in the same forest. That's what makes this one unique in that there is probably a central village with females and children, and males roaming around in the far corners of what I'm guessing will be a massive zone. Somewhere in this forest there's also space for the Nu Mou, with a camp for the untempered and the tempered by whatever their primal is. It would have made sense for Titania to be able to transform people into different creatures, but I have no idea what the Nu Mou's primal could possibly be. Morpher Nu Mous exist in tactics, but they only have the power to shapeshift themselves. Seeing as how Viera are obviously based on rabbits though, wouldn't it make sense for a primal with this power to turn them into helpless bunnies instead of cat warriors?
