It's not being talked about more because it's mostly a non-issue save for those who act like they're entitled to their combat data and as if it's their characters and by extension, their property.I just checked and it appears fflogs has changed their own policy when it comes to opting out: https://www.fflogs.com/help/hiding-characters/
Ideally we shouldn't have to opt out in the first place but not having to register on fflogs to do so is a huge improvement. I'm shocked that this isn't being talked about. Is it old news and have I been living under a rock?!
If people were aware that it was that easy to opt-out I do think it would ease the minds of many, and maybe would curb the disdain for parsing.
