    Ideally we shouldn't have to opt out in the first place but not having to register on fflogs to do so is a huge improvement. I'm shocked that this isn't being talked about. Is it old news and have I been living under a rock?!
    It's not being talked about more because it's mostly a non-issue save for those who act like they're entitled to their combat data and as if it's their characters and by extension, their property.

    If people were aware that it was that easy to opt-out I do think it would ease the minds of many, and maybe would curb the disdain for parsing.

    I don't really see the point of opting out. It doesn't actually prevent your logs from being uploaded by someone else.
