That's because WHM is completely busted currently and SE has decided it is WHM's turn to dominate after AST and SCH did. In other words they can't come to any balance decision that works. That's also why Dancer wasn't a healer and you know it.

This has nothing to do with what I said.

this is even the first time i heard FFlogs =/
this game need parse? and no, no way FFlogs is going down, and how the F is copyright has anything to do with it? that site steal nothing from FF14, in fact from the way i see, it collect data for each class and yoshi team could probably use it for extra reference when they want to balance the class.

Why is this thread still alive?
This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.
Owyeah, just for the very small amount of people (tiny compared to other MMOs) that judge people in their dps logs lets ban this certain site.
Wait? Most people use it to improve their own rotation and see how they can get better and see how they rank compared to others? heresy i say!
Yeah.. not gonna take this thread serious :P
Yep ...... This surely would be a good place to place a famous quote...
But lets not.
I main BRD and I never cared about parsing because I felt like I was doing alright and I was clearing content, so what, right? Then I saw someone uploaded a few Titania Ex runs and I was barely pulling 8k DPS, being greyer than grey, which was a bummer, I didn't expect I was actually that bad and realized I was being carried most of the time, and people were just being polite to not ask me wtf I was doing (granted I've seen SAMs parsing below 7k so a 8k BRD still was a better deal to them lol.).
So I started to notice that dots falling of here and there, being out of range during certain mechanics etc added up way more DPS loss than I thought, and I started actively improving skill usage, movement, uptime. And what do you know, a week later I managed to pull of 10k DPS tops, now carrying parties myself and being complimented after the kills. Parsing had improved my experience in this game a lot because now I can tell when I'm doing alright and when I'm not, and for a DPS thats pretty much the only way to know (when tank or heal messes up it's way more obvious ^^). Just because there are a few bad apples who might use it to harrass people (which as I said never happened to me, and I never saw it happen in any PF party I've been in) is no need to ban the thing. Those people would harrass you anyway, if it wasn'tfor the parses they'd find something else.

Parsing helped me in this game, but in another way. I am a healer main who was uncomfortable as a dps. I ran suzaku ex on my RDM, since the healer slots were taken, and someone was parsing. The parse they posted showed that I was at the top 20% for RDM on suzaku, and that was a real confidence boost, and now I adore playing RDM![]()
I feel like I've seen this exact post word for word somewhere before a long time ago. I swear I have.

You know you can remove your stats from there right?
Larek Darkholme @ Ragnarok
You can hide it, but not remove it entirely.
That's actually the only reason I did make an account...except people started judging me for hiding my parses instead, so there really isn't a way to escape.
I did it mostly because I'm too lazy to actively log my own parses and someone made a stupid remark about me "not being good enough" for a particular fight after seeing a single gray parse from my very first sloppy clear of a particular encounter that happened over a week beforehand. It was the only run out of several that actually got logged so judging off of that one instance was rather foolish.
