This made me think I'd really like a version of the 250 Alex tank gear that's dyeable. The savage version has too many attachments, extras, unnecessary bling.I think they should be Dyable
But be a lesser design
Like prototype alexander and savage Alex
So there is still difference between savage gear and normal gear and still incentive to get a nicer version
Or
They can be upgraded(to be dyed not ilevel/stats) with like 50 nq raid items springs ,lens, pedal
Etc etc
Just leave weapons and mounts for final savage tier
Not gonna happen, O12S is as punishing as A8/A12 when it comes to ignoring and brute forcing mechanics, I'll be very surprised to see non raiders being able to farm the glamour, they're barely even capable of doing Sephirot in current gear.

Seriously I am really confused by this thread:
1.) I need months to clear Alphascape V4 -
That entirely depends on how you handle this fight. It took me a total of 8 hours practice to clear kefka O8S and by no means am I a good player. Infact I am quite average. Everyone can do savage it is a mentality. Yes you need to put effort into it. A lot more effort than suzaku but the videos mr happy/mizzteq make are generally in my eyes completely >junk<. I admire their attempts into trying to video a fight but the problem is a fight is always 3 components the DPS Mechanics, the Tank Mechanics and the Healer mechanics. Ideally what you do is read the text guides that are on google docs that break the fights major mechanics down in animated gifs and explaining what they all do.
Mizztex has to try to condense a lot of details into a few sentences. Which is honestly flatout impossible. I barely use video guides if at all because I prefer having a document open while doing the raid. It took me 2 days to help a friend clear the fight. Again it is mentality. It is incredibly difficult for me to stress this more then anything. Savage in this game isn't hard its just far more unforgiving than extreme primals. But I believe everyone can learn the fight. But you have to be willing to learn a fight, and to understand your job nuances. Which in the end isn't a bad thing. I am confident enough to be able t o teach people most Savage raids icleared. I will not be able to carry anyone but I sure can explain the fight mechanics. and trust me getting your diamond body piece after killing that damn clown is really amazing .
I swear this happens almost every final tier of a raid. There's always that one person who can't be bothered to do savage, comes on the forums, complains that dyables should not be locked behind higher difficulty, sometimes disparages the use of savage/ex altogether, complains that it would take them months to learn, clear and farm and that the only thing savage/ex raiders should or does care about is the ilvl.
You have 95% of the game's glam available to you from casual content. Leave the remaining 5% alone for incentives for those who want to put in the work.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
You'll be waiting awhile, since the Alexander Savage gear hasn't reappeared in some shape or form.I for one, dream of being able to dye my Deltascape armor set. Alas, when the savage guide for v4 was a 25 minutes 2-parter video, I gave up on that dream. I do hope it will one day be made dyeable outside of Savage, even if I have to wait until the next expansion until that happens.
And then there will be thread asking for the normal mode to drop the savage looking set.I think they should be Dyable

It’s really quite simple, the dyable version of gear is savage specific so people who want it will do savage after the “highest ilvl” becomes outdated. Tell me, if they made the genta set dyable, what reason come 5.0 is there to do deltascape savage anymore? You can get the same reward with a different name and the story all from normal mode. Ilvl doesn’t matter because by 5.0 we can buy higher ilvl gear from a vendor.
If you want the reward, do the content that gives the reward. I too really want the genji gear for a dyable set but there’s no way I’d ever advocate for them to just make the genta set dyable instead.
Not necessarily? And even then we had a raid tier before where the minion did come from Savage. I get it's something they seem to have moved out from (minion goes to NM, mount stays from Savage) but it's not unprecedented.
Okay so minion and orchestration are now in nm. What incentivizes me to do the significantly more difficult Savage version of the fight instead for them, an expansion later?
As far as a mount farm is concerned, that's 8 fights of (multiple of 4)s, then done. Not nearly the life of an ex mount farm.
