I mean, if you aren't willing to grind it out, guess you don't really want it that badly in the first place? Otherwise you'd put in the effort for it, if it was something you really wanted.

Then you don't get a dyeable version. It's really quite simple. You either...
1) Complete Savage
2) Wait until Savage becomes unsync-able and rolls over
3) Deal with a non-dyeable version
And plenty of raiders do care about having a dyeable version. The Alexander tank coat and Midan gear in general is among the most popular. Regardless, it doesn't matter. You're basically asking for a hand out because you don't want to do Savage. Too bad.
The xD person! Is back! With a new thread!
Yep and next thing you know there's no mount for beating savage, then there isn't even a higher ilvl weapon, then there isn't even savage. Just do the content it doesn't take that long and it's fun as long as you have a good group.Pretty sure Endgame Raiders care about the ilvl405 and not being able to dye those gear. I know some ppl who have the ilvl405 gear and they just glamoured over it since it's not skimpy/cute enough. If what everyone says here is true, then most top tier guilds with the current savage gear would be using a dyed version of that armor and not glamour over it.
Savage rewards raiders with a content just for them and ilvl405 gear. Being able to dye an armor set dropped from Normal Alphascape takes away nothing from the raiders lol.
I think they should be Dyable
But be a lesser design
Like prototype alexander and savage Alex
So there is still difference between savage gear and normal gear and still incentive to get a nicer version
Or
They can be upgraded(to be dyed not ilevel/stats) with like 50 nq raid items springs ,lens, pedal
Etc etc
Just leave weapons and mounts for final savage tier
Oh gods I would love that. I wouldn't even mind if they made it so you needed to grind a bit more than the one coin from each 24 raid or what not, esp when that Savage tier is remotely relevant. I mean, it is still Savage gear.
They should make the alliance raid gear dyeable. Since the 8 player raid gear is already dyeable technically.
I'm raiding - more for the fun of it - and I actually dont care that much about my ilvl.Pretty sure Endgame Raiders care about the ilvl405 and not being able to dye those gear. I know some ppl who have the ilvl405 gear and they just glamoured over it since it's not skimpy/cute enough. If what everyone says here is true, then most top tier guilds with the current savage gear would be using a dyed version of that armor and not glamour over it.
I wont care for every piece of gear/glamour, because I dont like every piece, but for those that I like, I care very much about having them dyeable. So yes, it is an incentive to raid, at least for me. Even more so, since they took the story away and put it into NM. Its kinda funny, how you made this suggestion because you have a desire for this gear to be dyeable, but assume that no raider could possibly share that, just because the handful you know happend to care more about their 405-weapon. Trust me: Raiding doesnt turn everyone into a person whos blind for anything but numbers. Glamour is still our endgame!
I actually didnt raid in HW, but always wanted the Midan tankcoat and me and some friends just went back to get it - guess what: I havent even glamoured it yet, but that doesnt mean I dont care about it nor about it being dyeable.
If you want the stuff, but dont want to raid properly - wait for 5.0, level 80 and unsych.
Even though, as I said - personally I could see an upgrade-system like with the tomegear.
