It does, you can't be that ignorant to see some people don't even care about the earrings (some have admitted as much) they are just in it for the lols/trolling. Just like your post. But whatever. It was really a response to the accusing of one side of being toxic, like the other side were saints. I don't even have them.

"why so serious?" could be said about anything even IRL. It's easy to brush things off when you don't care about them.

I wouldn't call it ignorance so much as I realized long ago that people will complain about anything and everything and it seems to be especially horrible in online games. Especially on time exclusive items within the game. I acknowledge that people can care about something. What you're misunderstanding is that I cannot share that same care for the reasons I've posted above (it's virtual, I cannot own it, it is not tangible, it has no value outside of this game and its community). I can equally think placing such items on a pedestal is illogical to me (and obviously, those that do disagree with me). It's not trolling, though it's probably coming off as such.

Yeah, it's hard to care about something when you no somewhere in the future, they simply won't exist for anyone anymore. Hence my whole statement is boiled down to "These aren't real, so why are you so up in arms over them? Aren't the memories of how you obtained them more important than the item itself?"
