Yeah but I kind of doubt XI was released with everything missing, no explanation on how to do anything, and had to be fundementally changed to succeed xD

What does that have to do with the OP?
We all know how broken the game still is even today. Later in the thread the OP uses the XI maps as an example of a "complete" zone lay out. But that's not true.

Who cares really... you people are making every little thread into some HUGE deal like it's going to break the game. Why can't you just not comment on the thread if you disagree with it instead of chunking your views down everyones throats? Mostly hinting that towards Betel

How about you take your own advice?Who cares really... you people are making every little thread into some HUGE deal like it's going to break the game. The point of a discussion forum is to discuss. Those that disagree are mainly just pointing out that a developer doesn't need to account for every square inch of the world map. It should be understood that we visit only the areas relevant to our gameplay.

Take my own advice? I'm just pointing out about how some don't see that there is a clear area east of Thanalan and south of The Black Shroud. I'm not giving excuses of SE why some things just weren't released and whatnot. And only relevant to our gameplay? I'm sure the Amaljaa were a big part of our gameplay... so why woudln't their homeland where they reside be "relevant"?How about you take your own advice?

-rhetorical question, move along

We have no need to go to that area. So we don't go to that area. It's as simple as that.Take my own advice? All that bickering and you were dead wrong to begin with. FFXI had a horrible launch too. It just wasn't an international launch.
