Scout, Caster, Pet. Which class would you want next?

It's already been said that a magic class will come first, numerous times in numerous interviews. So that casting class could either be a pet class or a regular caster class. Theif has lowest priority.

Don't people read anymore? :P I would prefer a Thief class but I honestly couldn't give an ass about what comes first, as long as thief gets confirmed somewhere down the line I'll be a happy adventurer.

Also, a casting class should come first so you are right about that, but when have interviews actually been proven to actually happen? Its all talk, thats what an interview is.

SMN was ok in special situations, for the most part durring my 8 or so years of FFXI we never used them unless absolutely no other class could fill the role, and we never ever used PUP or BST. So yea maybe useless was harsh, I meant almost useless. Better?

Then your LS just sucked. During my 6-7 years in ff11 we had them all. SMN is actually a beast now in Asea btw.

They should be done much differently. Many of the MMOs I have played handle pets the same way. I'd like the dev team to have more time working with ideas before they are pressured into releasing them asap.

If SE can pull it off then Ill eat my words, but personally Ive never seen what I would call good pet classes in any MMO ive played. They were always OP, useless, or at best mediocre.

FYI: Im gald yo managed to find it in your heart to include Pet classes in endgame, that was very gracious of you. To think some people are so nice as to go that far to make others feel useful. Thats 2 gold stars and 3 smiley faces for you!

Im sure they have been or Yoshia would never have metioned it. They never give out to many details. But you are right. If its gonna be done it needs to be done right but lets be honest we aint getting no new jobs till 2013,2.0, Ps3 release mab anyway. thats more then enough time
