[Request] Can we have more race-specific hairstyles?

Miqo'te ears just really do not go well with a lot of the newer hairstyles. It feels like they made them for hyur and just slapped the ears on as an after thought. So I'd like some hairstyles that take them into consideration. They don't have to be race locked or anything, I don't care about that. I just want a nice hairstyle where the ears don't look out of place.

As much as I'd like for them to better care for the differences in races, it seems like whenever they do anything we end up with ear pockets on hats or that evenstar boner-tail. I'm not sure they have anyone on staff that knows how to make their own races look good.

Miqo'te are kind of a unique problem since all other races have their ears (or horns) in the “correct” human place: You could put an Lala exclusive hair on an elezen/roe/au ra/hyur and it’d look fine. You could put Elezen exclusive hair on a roe/au ra/hyur/lala and it’d look fine. Were it not for the stupid extra horns on Au Ra hair their exclusive hair would look fine on elezen/roe/hyur/lala.


I'd say no because I already want the devs to unlock some of the gender locked hair (whhyyyyyyy are dreads locked), if one race gets something "nicer" you know we'll all be hearing requests to unlock it on the forums/conventions/Q&As. Imo it's better to give X to everyone and let them pick and choose what they want to wear.

^ This is what I'm talking about. Whereas a lot of the older race unlocked hairstyles do take them into consideration.

My point was that it is very likely that they modeled the hair on a hyur and scale it to everyone since almost all races have ears where hyur ears are. Its a “one size fits most” thing.

Race specific hair - Sure.
Race specific gear - As long as it isn’t underwear.. Sure.
As long as the hairstyles my race gets look nice I won’t mind it.
