People that don't take it seriously I suppose, but if you are serious about martial arts; you need to train everyday. It must become part of your life. One to two hours a day is all you need to develop your body, but it's more than just keeping your body in physical shape. You went around traveling and even took part in competitions. That's definitely hardcore but in my opinion, any form of martial arts; if practiced seriously, is hardcore.

My original point was step on the idea that "hardcore" is basically saying, "You have no life, no girlfriends, blah blah."
Not everyone is some multimillionaire that can spend their day in any matter they see fit.
