this forum is absolutely saturated with people who misconstrue and abuse an open official forum as an excuse to mindspew every inane thought they've ever had about the game, no matter how poorly construed, no matter how nonconstructive, as if by having an open forum SE is *obligated* to hang on their every word.

using this forum to exchange ideas, give constructive, relevant, and helpful feedback, and to try to help improve the game little by little is fine. it's what the forum was built for. and the dev team actually implements a fair bit of it. but that's not how most are using it.

most are just using it as a sounding board to scream the loudest and expect everyone to pander to their every self-interested whim. me me me. what about me. pay attention to me. listen to me. what about what i think? what about what i want? who cares about that guy over there- me first.

while I agree with the most of thing you said, but last part. There are a few helpful though idea scatter around the forum after 1.19a, but those thread simply being ignore by the most of community or being shot down.

ps: I request for "new arrows concept" magic ability elemental dmg on arrows, mana shots arrows.....but it being forget quickly, it doesn't survive for 3 days. The difference between Hardcore and Casual has nothing to do with the Time they spent on a certain Game.

Its the Grade of Efficiency.

I know Players which are on like 5-8 Hours since Release a day and just have one Class at 50. And i know Players which play less than that a day and got like 5-7 Classes at 50. Would you call someone Hardcare just by the fact he is Online 10 Hours a day? I guess not. Like i said its efficiency and what you make out of the free Time you got. So a Player with like 2-3 Hours a day could also be a Hardcore-Player if he figures a way to optimize w/e he wants to do. I would call myself Hardcore since i use the Time i have Ingame. Its rare that i "just stand around". I do Quests, EXP, Fights w/e i think is the best and beside that i have Family and 2 Jobs. So the argument that someone with Family and Job would never reach the Top is really vague. And i only play 3-5 Hours a day ( at night actually ) as its Top.

I know the difference between the two, but it is still applies. You do in fact play video games to surround yourself with people doing the same thing. Why else you would be playing an MMORPG?
You're investing time to get some gratification out of the process. If you're doing martial arts for others instead of yourself, you're obviously missing the point of martial arts, but I guess it's circumstantial--perhaps you want to fight worthy opponents.
Whatever the case, I know what you're getting at but like I said before, it does apply to gaming.
