Cash shop pricing is getting a bit much...

I was told they were created because, given the way their beliefs and/or governmental controlled views work such as gambling is apparently seen as bad so they don't get Gold Saucer, that since they're not going to get all the content that we get, they get region exclusive items to make up for it or something. I can't remember exactly how it was said. I'm guessing that was not the case?

The price is getting high enough where it's hard to justify this.

If you've ever justified any of the cash shop, you shouldn't be complaining about this. I, and plenty others, considered everything in the cash shop to be too high to justify. We were told "It's optional, you don't need it." This argument can be applied to anything in the cash shop. $1 was out of our price range of justifiable and we were told to deal with it. You should do the same.

I actually refuse to buy any of that stuff simply out of my stubbornness. As much as I want those pretty glams....I absolutely refuse to spend a game's worth of money on an outfit and a mount. That pricing is ABSURD. Everything could cost literally half the price and it would still be a bit high. It's absolutely insane. You have to be mental to justify it. I understand the value of a dollar and on top of my monthly sub I am not letting them suck my wallet dry on stuff that 10 years ago would've been in game. Ridiculous.

You're telling people to roll over and pay 24 dollars for a mount that's just fire wheels on your feet? Grow a back bone. This is a paid monthly game. Its not free to play. If it were free to play it'd make more sense for these prices. I buy the game and pay monthly for it. 18 dollars is not worth the price. We make them money and we are actually being reasonable about it. If you dont feel the same thats completely fine but dont tell someone to suck it up. Consumers are allowed to voice distaste in pricing for increase cash shop prices.

No, I'm telling them they don't have to buy it. The same way I was told I don't need something that costs $1 when I initially spoke out against the cash shop.

This is disingenuous. You can criticise the price of something without being against the practice itself. I, personally, find movie theaters grossly overpriced, thus I don't go often. I still like them though. In that same sense, I have no issue with the Cash Shop as a concept. That doesn't mean I agree with everything it does or the prices set.

Those wearable items include things like relic upgrades that don't change appearance at all.

We're still at 12,550 in total. It's also still including every individual item that things on the mog shop break down into.

There's 368 listings on the mog station.

How much more do you want to break this down? It's only going to make the cash shop look bigger.

The people who were against the practice were against the price. We were told to deal with it, we aren't the target, if you aren't willing to pay the price, you don't have to because you don't need it.

Oh this was a special regional thing they're bringing over from a different version of ff14?

Hmm, suddenly I don't feel as annoyed that it's on the cash shop. Not sure why, but it doesn't feel as bad, like it really was extra to our version of the game.

I'd still prefer if cash shop prices, in general, were cheaper though. I can afford it, and I do want some of those items, but at that price (because of the sub) it's just a matter of principle.
Though I suppose it's still cheaper than some other hobbies that exist out there.
