It's just so irrational for someone to be screaming Hollywood drama "I was forced to unsub" because of something that isn't even required to participate in.

I'm sorry, but where did I ever utter the phrase, "I was forced to unsub". In my OP I clearly laid out my reasons, mostly which were that SE has decided to cascade extra fees on a subscription based MMO and the premium app is simply the one I found most egregious.

Cry, scream, wail. It won't matter. You've been crying since 3 years ago and mogstation stuff still remains completely unnecessary. You'll continue crying for ages, and you'll undoubtedly be back in May.

Well, my sub runs out on 11 May, so I have until then to voice my opinion.

I think you will find 'made' is also a synonym for 'caused', clearly the sense in which the OP meant it (Judging from their post above).
