I think it isnt the question wether the app is P2W or not,its more about what is the next step?

Remember the time were we discussed about the Mogry Shop? Everyone sayed its ok because you can only buy Event items.
Look at the MS now,we have mounts/dyes/NPC Costume(which the Devs said earlier it would never happen because uniqueness) etc... and hell people still asking for more vanity.

Now we are discussing about the app,which itself has not so much P2W aspect,but in the future it can.
Nobody back then thought that we would get an app with p2p+microtransaction,and now we are here.
So whats next SE?

Self-sufficiency for example. Self-sufficiency is the bane of money circulation, because self-sufficient people don't need to buy anything from other people anymore, but they are still able to sell them something they can't get on their own. Inflow exceeds outflow, gil accumulates.

Self-sufficiency isn't as harmful as you make it out to be, primarily because only a small percentage of players have the interest or the available time needed to become self-sufficient.

People who are self-sufficient still end up buying a lot of items from other players because of the time savings. Why spend an hour running around in circles gathering mats when you can just buy off the MB and spend that hour doing something else instead?
