If a significant amount of people feel inclined to downgrade themselves to run Sastasha with their limited kits for the umpteenth time, I'm inclined to think there are far, FAR bigger issues in the higher level content than the fact that you can avoid it.
I agree but just for the fact that people did downgrade themselves during 3.3 to avoid the MSQ trials in the roulette makes me worry about what could happen for the leveling roulette.
I am however in favor of an adaptive minimum item level for these roulettes based on the highest unlock duty and the job level. I just do not know if it is easy for SE to implement that. For instance,
- if someone is lv. 51 and has unlocked Dusk Vigil, the game could require that their ilvl is at least i100 or i110 (drops are i120);
- if someone is lv. 69 and has only unlocked up to Dusk Vigil, the game would only require that their ilvl is again i100 or i110;
- if someone is lv. 69 and has unlocked everything up to Castrum Abania, the game would require that their ilvl is i268 or i278 (drops are i288).
