helped my SO with sorting inventory today. FFIV needs better inventory management

Because that's what it sounds like here.

The only thing in this whole mess that actually makes sense is being able to move retainer to retainer inventory management wise...sure...that's nice.

But they did give us a choco saddlebag....and 999 stacks...can't complain honestly.

Sounds like you need to do a better job managing your inventory.

That and all I need to do is mouse over to identify items if an icon doesn't make sense. (PS4 users however may not have that easy..ill admit that)

What FFXIV needs to stop doing is putting so many currencies as inventory items. We now have a currency page and there's no reason for it. 8 currencies pieces per new raid tier not including savages is pretty stupid.

Same with certain gears. "But Deceptus, just thrown them in the Glamour Plate" Until one of those items is needed for Fashion Files and Glamour doesn't count for it. Not to mention 200 items isn't a whole lot 5 years into a game with tons of gear thrown at you.

Yes that is the point with this. I do not get why there is so many currencies that go in your inventory. I do not get why so many insist to be rude, attack me, and not a single person has yet try to answer my question I had.

Throw out everything that NPCs sell for cheap.
Also anything that can be gathered very easily and isn't used very often for crafts.
If you have 60 NQ and 3 HQ of an item, either sell the HQ or reduce it to NQ and stack it.

Again it took so long because how this game presents its inventory. it takes too long to go retainer to retainer then back again.
