You could have just said that you don't have time to do it instead of giving an excuse. There are multicolored AF in the data files.

Plus, the topic is customization. Not different tiers. Different tiers should be built upon in how they are structured and not just a recolor. That's just laziness.

Blue Warriors, Yellow Dragoons, purple WHM's and green BLM's make perfect sense to Corrderio it seems.

"Because the color of equipment is not somehow a part of the Job's identity."

Yes because variety is a huge problem.

Here's a crazy thought, if you want "tradition" you can *gasp* keep it the default color!

People wanted job identity, and the color just happens to be a part of that identity. Especially considering the traditions.

What you seem to be unable to grasp is that gear color is as much of a part of a Job's identity as the model it uses. It's no poor excuse as much as you'd like to think it is.

Here's a crazy thought, if you want "uniqueness" in the current system you can *gasp* make up your own unique gear for your classes that you can choose to not wear on any other but one class. There, problem fixed. Oh wait, no, that sounds retarded. Just like yellow Dragoons and green Black Mages.

Some people want this, not all. Unless you can convince me that the "majority" want this, I call shananagens.

So what your saying is that we should all conform to "traditional" concepts because why?

Its your opinion that color of the gear is representative of a jobs identity, not mine, his or many others.

You mention what sounds "retarded". What sounds "retarded, is someone who did not pay the 60 bucks for our disk or who will not be paying our monthly fees when the time arises, telling us we can't have a color of gear we want. Especially if some of us leveled craft just so we can do such things with our gear.

Because it's either your way or my way. There is no middle ground to be had (except being able to dye in shades of the same color). You either use color to identify jobs or you don't.

And we have had enough bitching on the subject of job identity and FF traditions that I think it's pretty clear which side is the more popular one. Disagree all you want, you are in the minority.

Color is a very small part of it though.
Hardly. I'd say model is the smaller part.

Seriously that one guy's edits to the AF concept art proves it can work, just SE giving more random BS excuses.
So what you are saying is that people wouldn't have a problem if they did exactly what you said just because you want them to do it?

I disagree. People would have a huge problem with it, even more so since the jobs are not pulled out of their ass, but are the traditional ones. And that's enough of a reason to not make this a bs excuse.

Your only point here is to say "fuck you" to everyone who would have a problem with it, just because you disagree. Great opinion you have there.

Color is a very small part of it though. And besides that another issue people had were people looking exactly the same, meaning if AF can't be dyed we're back to that problem as well.
