Question about Job "AF Armor"

There might be plans to have tiers of AF armor, and therefore want a "clean Palate" so to speak so they can just apply different yet similar colors to the newer sets when they are released in the very distant future.

I would hope that SE learns from stupid things they have done in the past and not just recycle armor with different colors.

My 1 gil is worth more than your 1 gil.

Crafted gear can be you ladies fashion design gear. I like the traditional look of the Job gear and hope it stays that one (one color, one job); think of it this way:

Black Mage job is released: colors they can be: Black, blue, white, red, green.
White Mage job is released: colors they can be: Black, blue, white, red, green.
Red Mage job is released: colors they can be: Black, blue, white, red, green.
Green Mage job is released: colors they can be: Black, blue, white, red, green.
Blue Mage job is released: colors they can be: Black, blue, white, red, green.


I'm sorry but I don't want White colored Black Mages running around with Red colored White Mages, and Blue colored Red Mages with Green colored Blue Mages with Black colored Green Mages. (See how stupid and confusing that would be?)

You want multi-color options, stick to crafted gear, you want specific gear, stick to job gear. (As we all know the AF gear will just get dated in a few months time away, if history has anything to speak for itself)

I would rather have an option to transfer the look of that armor to another like in Aion.
Looking a the drawing those AF's look awesome but Yoshi said that AF quests will begin at 30.
Therefore, alot of that pieces will most likely be worse than some crafted items unless this is the only gear jobs can wear and the current armor we have is class only.

Not necessarily, there could be an effect or bonus that the lvl 30 AF could have that makes it much better than the end crafted gear, and I'm hoping this is so. maybe some pieces can be replaced, but for the most part having that gear on your job will be more beneficial at first, at least till there is a lvl cap increase and we have to go with crafted until AF2.

Yes, please. Also... who cares about it having to ONLY be the traditional colors when the gear is structured the same. If there were to be higher tiers to the job artifact gear, I'd shoot for them to look more grand in how they are structured and not the same friggin' gear, but with a color alteration.

Pretty sure most FF games aren't MMOs, though we do like how ridiculously ugly MMOs make their armors look, especially tier wise in 2011, so we should definitely have that system for AF gear.

You know, people are constantly throwing around AF and all, but I can't recall the dev team ever calling it that.

They have called it AF gear before, because it's a familiar term to most people.
