Future Primals and their Dungeons - Idea

Edit: Shortened this up a bit. I guess it may have been an intimidatingly long post.

I would like to ask SE that in the future, please place the Primals in bigger dungeons filled with mobs to give us objectives and work -toward- getting to the final boss (I.E. Darkhold). There are -still- unused dungeons out there, I'm sure, so it would be nice to incorporate them into new content.

When playing through DH, I didn't feel SO bad losing to Batraal at the end of the dungeon because I had at least had fun and felt fulfilled from completing the rest of the dungeon. It felt like wonderful progress was being made. My LS was learning more and more. By the time I was able to kill Batraal, I had that dungeon down like the back of my hand. It added an extra layer to the game on top of the new bosses we had to learn to fight. Not to mention the mini-boss on the way (Ogre) was a stepping stone in itself. It made DH seem like a much grander event. Unfortunately, with the addition of Materia and the Ifrit fight, the gear from DH ultimately becme obsolete, so people, for the most part, stopped doing it.

    What I propose :

Use unused dungeons and reskin them to fit the aesthetic of the primal you're introducing to the game. If you were to introduce Garuda next, for example, make a dungeon filled with Ixali.
    Objectives:

    1. Introduce a new Ixali Mini-Boss to master and get loot from along the way to Garuda

    2. Introduce "body" gear (Chest, head, legs, hands, the works) that you can obtain inside the dungeon on the way to Garuda (who drops the weapons). This gear NEEDS to be as good as what you can get from a regular 1-slot materia piece. This will give people more incentive to want to do this content after they've already gotten their weapon. It keeps people busy for much longer, and it doesn't feel like you're going in the dungeon to wipe to Ifrit over and over again. It feels more like you accomplished something, even in failure.

    3. Give us enough time to be able to make it through the dungeon so that players don't HAVE to work out how to do "speed-runs" (in which you -have- to just run through mobs and not fight them) in order to even have a chance at having enough time to beat the boss in time. I want to enjoy doing the dungeon and fighting the mobs, not having the tank (me) run through, gather everything up, and hope for the best on the way.

    4. Do what you did with Ifrit and add an extra difficulty layer to the mix.
    • Easy Mode: Have the 25 "Primal-Only" story event.
    • Normal Mode: Level 45+ Dungeon with Primal as boss.
    • Hard Mode: Level 50 "Elite" dungeon with the Primal as the boss. Inside, the mobs, mini-boss, and the Primal are all more dangerous, but yield +1 versions of the normal mode's loot.
This will extra layer of difficulty will help beginner-level 50's learn the dungeon and the primal fight, and it will help give casual players, who don't have time to play hardcore content, something to do. However, this will also give players with a bit more time a chance to use their skills to obtain better equipment IF they can beat the Elite-mode Primal.

    5. *I initially got this idea from replying to WiiSam in his Longevity thread* Make the weapons dropped from different primals DIFFERENT but EQUAL.

I.E. (If collecting Axes, which I do.):

Ifrit's Axe: Atk Power +, STR+ (Fire - raw power)

Garuda's Axe: Critical Hit Rate +, DEX+ (Wind - hit more often)

    Titan's Axe: Parry Rate+, VIT+ (Earth - tanking axe)

TL;DR: Add Primals to the end of dungeons, filled with their corresponding beastmen tribe, different gear to balance out the gear vs weapons ratio. Keeps people busy.

Overall, the purpose of all these ideas is to keep players entertained during the waiting period until 2.0. Even a single one of these dungeons would bring enough content to keep people busy for quite a while.

Please provide constructive criticism and "Like" if you agree. I'd like to see a response from the dev's.

Insulting people in the counter argument isn't going to change their minds. It will make them stick harder to their opinion regardless of whether or not it's right, and think less of your opinion simply because you insulted them. In essence, if you want to try and change someone's mind, come up with a well thought-out response and don't be a dick.
