i may have agreed with you about the exp reduction due to the speed it is given, but this idea is a sure 10000000000000% hell no.

it is ok to vote "no", I asking for opinion and vote
thank you for understand the system, and thank you for point out the flawHmm, this would tip this game quite a bit more into being like every other MMO. Stat boosts should realistically be reserved for gear and buffs from another class like BRD for example, this would make it far too easy to make the game less group oriented. This as a gil sink would be ok if it didn't essentially unbalance things in the long run.
Gil sinks would be things like Dynamis from XI (used to cost 1 million per glass, multiple groups could end up buying a glass = hundreds of millions gone just like that) or Limbus -- Basically content that cost you a decent amount of gil to participate in.
It's not exactly like Fatigue, it's more like how MMOs award bonus XP for not playing their game -- Eventually you'll normalize back to your usual levels if not lower in some cases, however being reduced to no damage is like the fatigue system that people ironically complained about (given the push for catering this game to people who can only play 5 hours a week) so yeah, I'd vote no as well.
as I said at the early post, the gil can be adjust as well as the stamina gauge reduce because it is the Dev who code those thing, I am only suggest the rough idea.Flaws I see:
What im new and hit 0% and have only 20k, how am I supposed to get 30k to get back my stats if my character is stuck on 0-everything.
It would have to reduce fast for 50k to affect anyone. Thats 20 CS fixes per 1m. If its to ofast, 4-5/day thats punting out 200-250k/day, a lot of people will be angry. if its 1/day then it will be pointless.
A better gil sink would be 50k to get 20% more stats, because its win win, everyone will buy it, who doesnt want 20%?, everyone will want everyone else who is playing with them to buy it, who doesnt want their team mates with 20%, and people lose gil fast because they keep buying it. But in the end its optional.
What I just described is how the Food System should work (and kind of does in XI).
The idea is not optional like your, it force ppl to always carry the CS, because with CS they can always have their gauge at 120% until they are out of CS or the supply to increase the CS duration, then they need to re-buy new one
*there is no set amount of how many CS or supply you can carry so you can assume you can carry a stack*
you completely miss understand the system like the most in here

NO I don't misunderstand the system. You want something that is more immersive and a time sink. Many of us don't want that because we don't have all the time in the world to sit in a game and watch others level up. A lot of us aren't super rich and can afford 50k every two days. I mean you have to think about the whole community, not just you and a couple people who liked this idea. Did you not get the point when the majority of people asked for fatigue system to be taken out? Because it prevents you from doing things. And why just battle classes? Wouldn't you get tired of crafting or gathering?it is ok to vote "no", I asking for opinion and vote

And I don't think we need to get systems from other games...

as others have stated i would not be opposed for the optional price to get a temporary boost to stats. my porblem with the idea as a whole is the idea you will go down to 0 damage eventually. for me, i have over 100 mil so i could afford to pay it for a while, but you must also think of the new players. 50k per hour is crazy when they do not have that kind of gil laying around to throw out hundreds of thousands of gil a day.
if it was just a temporary boost that would just go back to your normal stats they everyone would have a choice. the ones that have the gil to afford it could choose to use it, but not force others to pay it even if they do not have it to play the game. i'm all about giving choices, but do not agree with forcing the choice on people that cannot afford it.

Even if that was the case just to temporarily boost stats, most parties would require it and it would turn off a lot of people. I don't want to be required for this stamina boost everytime I want to do -insert quest here- runs. It's enough right now that we almost need certain class levels to do certain content, this would make it worse lol.as others have stated i would not be opposed for the optional price to get a temporary boost to stats. my porblem with the idea as a whole is the idea you will go down to 0 damage eventually. for me, i have over 100 mil so i could afford to pay it for a while, but you must also think of the new players. 50k per hour is crazy when they do not have that kind of gil laying around to throw out hundreds of thousands of gil a day.

from my understanding it would be a party boost and not individual. if everyone in the party wanted it the price would be reduced, but you would not need to have it before joining the party.Even if that was the case just to temporarily boost stats, most parties would require it and it would turn off a lot of people. i still don't think the forced to buy or go down to 0 damage dealt would be a good idea though. the idea was a gil sink by giving boosts and that i'd be fine with such as the engineering manuals from the gc, but it should be a boost and never drop you below your base stats once it expired.

that s why this idea being shot down completely right ? but it is to late to fix it nowfrom my understanding it would be a party boost and not individual. if everyone in the party wanted it the price would be reduced, but you would not need to have it before joining the party.
