    lol how is this not like the fatigue system? exhausted = all attributes to 0 and cant deal any damage? wtf is that?

    this is a horrible idea and just a re work the terrible fatigue system.

    in what reality should you have to pay gil in order to deal damage? we already have to pay for repairs, gear, food, useable items, airships, and im sure a slew of other things by 2.0. now you think its a good idea to have to pay for combat itself?
    how many gil sinks do you need? why should a gil sink effect combat of all things?
    this is the worst idea ive heard!

    So.. after we pay with our wallets to play FFXIV, then we pay in game with our gil to play FFXIV.

    No.

    Calling it a gil sink doesn't justify a horrid idea. FFXIV needs gil sinks. Yes. FFXIV does not need horrible ideas.

    Let me spoil the end of this thread for you. It's gonna die out and no one on the dev team is gonna care.

    The last thing I want is another mechanic limiting me in how I can play the game. I'm pretty sure SE can come up with a better idea for a gil sink.
