Just give us the option "do not show this message box again".
Then everyone can be happy.

This thread is proof that players will continue to complain about literally anything and everything.
It's also proof that some people will defend anything the devs do, even if it serves literally no purpose other than to annoy the player. This thread is proof that players will continue to complain about literally anything and everything.

With the replies so far, yes you are correct. People saying a pointless message is fine without explaining why it is needed, ok
10/10
Yes when I am told that 5-10 times a day (or back on tues/weds when me and my SO did diadem 3.0, 20+ times those days), yes its only existence is to annoy people that point. If someone followed you and told you how old you are every 10-30 mins wouldn't you be annoyed at some point? I do not need be told the same thing over and over again.

It's really simple to ignore...Cmon Vstar you're really grasping at straws and nitpicking the littlest of things to get upset at the devs for. Granted it doesn't need to be there but it is, deal with it.

It should be pretty self-explanatory why the message is there. Turning in a Beast Tribe quest will give you tomes unless you've capped for the week. The message is there to warn players who've capped that they won't be able to get that part of the reward if they turn it in before the weekly reset.
So you're seeing the message 5-10 times a day but somehow still haven't figured out which tomes you've capped? Apparently you do need to be told 5-10 times a day. You're repeatedly (like, 5-10 times a day) somehow forgetting which tomes you're getting from the quests and whether you've capped them or not.Please... I do not need be told something 5-10 times a day. No one needs be told something this much about something. Does someone walk behind you repeating how old you are every 30 minutes?
Apparently some people need be told something the same thing 5-10 times a day, though such a thing is beyond my understanding
Sounds like a personal problem to be honest.

You needing to be reminded that you are capped for the week sounds like a personal problem to be honest. Yes you are right, it is obvious just there to annoy players that do not need useless information. Somehow you quote my posts and still misread my point? Is this why you need to be reminded over and over again for something? It should be pretty self-explanatory why the message is there. For the blacklash of "but somehow still haven't figured out which tomes you've capped?" I play the game a lot, I can cap the unlimited ones quite easy. So yes it is easy for me lose track what one i am close to 2k on, and the 450 weekly message confusing me thinking it might be one of the other 2.
If you are going to say "It should be pretty self-explanatory why the message is there." I direct you back to this:
that is all you are doing, I already countered every weak reason someone gave for it being there. Literally pointless. Again if you want to put "personal problem" on me for not needing useless message, same can be said for you, for needing said useless message. I do not want a message flash for .5 seconds that does not give me time to read and I am tried of it (like seizure concept)

It serves no other purpose, so... yeah, the only inference I can make is that it was put in to annoy the player.A "you've capped for this week" message was deliberately put in the game for the sole purpose of annoying the player?
To borrow from your sig, "change my mind"
Not when it comes from things like beast tribe dailies, which will go as far as to put a popup on your screen that you have to click when turning in the quest. Since you'll probably be doing 3 of the quests, that means 3 unnecessary popups. More if you misclick, which is likely since it defaults on "no" like most other unnecessary annoying "did you understand that?" prompts in video games. It's really simple to ignore...
