There were enough posts in the past who demanded a warning for many different things before clicking on the OK button.
It's still more of an annoyance and makes it so I can't just spam the confirm button to turn in a quest I've already done a zillion times before. Doesn't mean I can't do the quests, but it does make completing them more of a hindrance, for zero good reason.Affects your tasks? How?
Are you still able to get your beast tribe quests done? Are you getting the rewards minus the capped limit on tomes?
Not sure why people would advocate for unnecessary annoyance being left in the game when it could be easily removed, unless they were just white knighting and insisting the devs can do no wrong ever.
A warning when you're 2000/2000 tomes (and could otherwise still receive more tomes if you weren't capped) is reasonable. There were enough posts in the past who demanded a warning for many different things before clicking on the OK button.
A warning when you're 450/450 on weekly tomes (something you cannot do a damn thing about) is not, and I guarantee you that's not a warning anyone asked for. If there were, they were being silly and should have been disregarded.

At the end of the day, can we all at least agree that an option to disable the check boxes would be nice? If people don't mind the check boxes or want to keep them for whatever their personal reasons are, they will be able to. Those that find these messages irritating in whatever manner, they will be able to get rid of them.
Win/Win.
Yes, this is exactly the sort of feedback that wastes time and doesn't serve any purpose that this thread is complaining about. You nailed it.*facepalm*
Although the warning would rub me the wrong way too, it can serve a purpose. For those who sometimes do the Beast Tribe quests for mendacity, it's Monday evening (9pm ST), and you're ready to hand in, but wait, you're capped! Why not wait until tomorrow morning (9am ST) when the weekly cap resets, and hand it in then (it's still on the same day too, so you've not lost quests by doing it.)
As for me, please give me the option to turn it off!
Same could be said for the 2000/2000 warnings. Also, I gave a situation (albeit niche one) where the 450/450 warning can be useful. But like I stated above, give me an option to turn it off. Even if the warnings are switched on by default.

White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
If they didn't have this message there would be a thread just like this (probably by the same person) complaining they capped in tomes and wernt warned and now they "wasted time" doing content and not getting tomes...
Is that really necessary though? There is no warning prior to reset to save your roulette so they carry over into next week's cap. That being said, an option to toggle on/off is the best of both worlds. And while we're at it, include a similar option for when I buy gear for a job other than the one I currently am. Gets annoying whenever I want to grab WHM gear and get a prompt saying "You cannot equip this?" Yes, I can. I just happen to be on WAR at the moment.Although the warning would rub me the wrong way too, it can serve a purpose.
