Although the warning would rub me the wrong way too, it can serve a purpose. For those who sometimes do the Beast Tribe quests for mendacity, it's Monday evening (9pm ST), and you're ready to hand in, but wait, you're capped! Why not wait until tomorrow morning (9am ST) when the weekly cap resets, and hand it in then (it's still on the same day too, so you've not lost quests by doing it.)

As for me, please give me the option to turn it off!

Same could be said for the 2000/2000 warnings. Also, I gave a situation (albeit niche one) where the 450/450 warning can be useful. But like I stated above, give me an option to turn it off. Even if the warnings are switched on by default.

As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.

Is that really necessary though? There is no warning prior to reset to save your roulette so they carry over into next week's cap. That being said, an option to toggle on/off is the best of both worlds. And while we're at it, include a similar option for when I buy gear for a job other than the one I currently am. Gets annoying whenever I want to grab WHM gear and get a prompt saying "You cannot equip this?" Yes, I can. I just happen to be on WAR at the moment.

Necessary? Probably not for your average player. However there are definitely some players that have a lesser ability to keep track of their weekly caps (and remembering to check currency), than a goldfish has ability to remember things (and their memory span is 3 seconds). As for the warnings not appearing for the roulette, they don't apply to any tomestone (capped/weekly cap), and I think that's due to how they programmed the warnings (it doesn't look at their current caps, only what they have currently, as displayed in the duty rewards window and stuff). But for those players I just listed, something like that probably is needed. I wouldn't need it though. I usually remember to check currency!

Agreed. I could do with those warnings being removed too. I am quite meticulous in checking what I am buying.

anyone who would be against the option to turn it off is trolling.

conversely, anyone that gets THAT irritated about it has major issues.

And as Vstarstuck said, its just obnoxiously fast to have any value anyway.
