Also, I like the whole "resummon Lily" idea, and I can see how it might be OP. But if Dissipation is reworked to act like Bahamut, maybe we can get Lily in her full form, like we see in the SCH LB. It would be a cool effect to have her hovering above us, making it like she is giving us her magic and increasing our healing.

Also, does anyone else say Lily when referring to her as a whole and not an aspect... anyone... anyone at all... T.T

Oh no, I call her Lily, too, when just referring to her as our fairy! Especially now that we have Lilac, and know that all fairies were individuals with names

I'm effectively poking fun at the thread, since these request are silly

SCH are in a very good position and beside making Selene less garbage they don't need miuch if anything.

The only thing that annoys me with SCH is that crit mechanic on shield.
I just find it too unreliable and not even fun. I also find Emergency tactic to lack some whoomph, (unless you crit but that's SCH issue, it's always "it's normal if you don't crit it's op if you do"
Emergency Tactic makes Adlo a 600 potency heal for 1500mp, comparatively WHM has 700 potency for 1200 mp and AST 650+65/98 potency on 1000mp

The worst part is that SCH needs a 30sec cd whereas AST and WHM can have it free or with a guaranteed crit (the second one is very nice imo)

I'd like Emergency tactic to get some sort of rework because I just don't find it any good. Giving the next SCH a guaranteed crit would surely make it too strong for it's CD, but the heal "without" crit is just too weak for the mp (and it doesn't feel all that much like an emergency)
Perhaps also halving the mp cost would do the trick.

I'm not a pro SCH so perhaps it's more of a lack of practice that I don't find any good use of that skill.

We can't compare Emergency Tactics adlo + mana cost with ast/whm Cure II version.
Scholar has sustained free heal with the fairy Embrace at his side. Any heal he does or not, there'll always be Embrace which can also crit.
Emergency Tactics was introduced more for succor to give Scholar a 2nd way to make a pure heal in aoe (cause that was his weak point).
Since indom is on 30s, they can't spam it, and if anything happens to their co-healer, as least, they have that "emergency" tool.

But a normal succor will do the same, Since the shields will absorb next raid damages Inc. Exept some mecanics like White hole, but it's too bad to have a skill needed for only one type of mecanic ( seen in very few bosses also ).

I kinda like the guaranteed crit idea, but we might make the CD longer. Like 45sec. ( but it has to work for DPS purpose as well ! Hehehehe)

Yeah, it was from an old lore thread, but I think the German version, at least, never mentions Lily being a singular entity at all. It's just Eos being more proactive in cutscenes. I think it was understood that they were more like Egis/Carbuncles than a companion creature that they eventually became.

Lilac being as she was, I doubt any retcons were needed in later content. Eos being the one to always show up in cutscenes even if you had Selene up may have been part of the confusion.
