Scholar has sustained free heal with the fairy Embrace at his side. Any heal he does or not, there'll always be Embrace which can also crit.
Emergency Tactics was introduced more for succor to give Scholar a 2nd way to make a pure heal in aoe (cause that was his weak point).
Since indom is on 30s, they can't spam it, and if anything happens to their co-healer, as least, they have that "emergency" tool.

I think the scholar is in a good spot at the moment. However, there is at least one quality of life changes I'd suggest. For instance, dissipation. I think it would be better, after the duration, if it resummoned the pet back to the battlefield much like summoner - summon bahamut. Ideally, both abilities work similarly. You must have a pet out in order to execute the ability and both pets leave for the duration.

Outside the absurd changes I can't say I agree with Dissipation bringing back the fairy automatically either. Rather than a QOL, that would be yet another buff to SCH as you'd get an extra 3 Aetherflow stacks at 0 cost, which also accelerates your next Atherflow by 15s. Granted the cooldown is 3 minutes long so it isn't much of an issue, but I don't think the strongest healer in the game needs yet another buff.

I'd like to just see a new trait that gives a buff every time the fairy casts a spell. Reduces summon time of the opposite fairy by 10% each cast, stacks up to 10 times, lasts 35s. Summon removed from the GCD. It seems like most of the problems with Dissipation and Selene's viability stem from the fact that summoning mid-battle is a dps loss, and pain in the ass.

The only real QoL the job has needed since launch is making the pets responsive so you're not stuck using some awkward work-around to force them to use a pet CD without them resorting to trying to Embrace spam low-HP targets and ignoring you for 5-6 seconds.

I lost it at the Fey Wind change. Comedy gold. Bloody hell man, this is a joke right?

All i am asking is a constructive feedback on these suggestions like how Connor puts it instead of "learn to play your class" or "When the same person makes both these ridiculous suggestions and the SCH ridiculous suggestions, it's hard not to wonder if they were beaten up by a posse of White Mages". Are you telling all the people who put down suggestions to get good?

I don't think we need any changes like these. The SCH toolkit is very robust, with almost every part of it having a use. Our strengths are very strong, and our weakness help define our niche and give the class depth.

I think at this point in time all that's would be helpful is a pass at Selene to make her useful outside of gimmicky opener-boosting. However since you could mostly delete Summon 2 and still have a functional class it's a very minor gripe.

Healers in general are solid and well-balanced across the board and there is no sense in fixing what isn't broken.
