I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were a game dev who understood ff14 inside out and could claim with certainty the only reason they haven't adapted this system is just because they didn't feel like it. now if you don't mind, I'm gonna err on the side of making the system people want is actually more complicated than it seems and they rather put more effort into things they can accomplish a lot easier, faster.

I suppose in the most simplistic sense, yes, if you don't like it don't use it, but that does not mean that people should just be thrilled about this interesting system that we've been given. It is designed horribly, and it's convoluted as only SE can manage. I suppose it's a baby-step in the right direction, but there is a lot of work to be done to make this a decent system.

It is interesting to me how bad a glam system could be made.
