4.2 Housing Update

Anyone know if we will have a dev chat thing to get the FAQ about this change for accounts? I agree with many about if you have more then one personal house on the account right now.
Its not OUR fault that SE decides to say "Alt characters are treated as a fully separate character, no house sharing with your main account, etc"

Now if they are changing the rule to allow for alts to be assigned also as owner status to the house you have on your account. Awesome! About time!

Then the other issue is.. if they DO "force remove" houses... yea.. that would be a shit storm, cause how does the server know which house the person wants to keep? Etc.

Ill assume this maybe like how Ultima Online did it. You are grandfathered into your houses, but the new flags will only take effect if you try to buy a new house.

As far as I know Yoshida has said something about wanting to let all characters on a server have access to a home you own on that server, but that wasn't being implemented yet. It's still in the works so to speak.

That would be awesome. Can't tell you how aggravating it is to have to run to the apartment building to use the mender there in the housing districts cause my alt can't use my main's house.
