An Alternative? to parsers..

People would quit if a Parser was added to the game.
Nobody likes someone dictating the dungeons.

I know I would leave, I don't have time to see people attacking others over a video game because they lose a fight.

You know I left a Linkshell in FFXI that had a leader who controlled everything and played favorites when people got items and even there was a points system it was ignored at time or promises were made and couldn't be kept.

I stopped doing those types of Linkshells and I put Parser's in that same level if everyone began using I would run into more people and it would be just all rage wars and fighting and I don't have time for drama I move on, as fun as the game is nostalgia factor I just wanna have fun and not deal with that type of crowd.

You can hate on me or say bye that's fine but until they do cave in to a parser I will be here playing just fine without it.

as for your idea no thanks that like rusty hearts S-F ranking after a dungeon was cleared wanna know where that game is, it died.

But....that already happens...in Rabanastre...in Omega Savage....happened for a good while in The Royal Menagerie....

I don't know, my experiences have been different from this statement. Either my experience is the exception or yours is......

I've been in several "bad" Rabanastre groups and no one ever said anything rude or offensive.

Just last night I landed in Royal Menagerie via Trial Roulette with 3 first timers; the group wiped 3 times before a clear on the fourth attempt and each wipe was met with positive and reinforcing talk.

I think that the FFXIV community in general is a very friendly and helpful one; by far the best of any game I have ever played, MMO or otherwise. Will the introduction of wide-spread parsers change that? I doubt it.
