Lucifer here seems to be missing out as to why Kiote is being called out. It's because he's acting like he's tried these changes and knows exactly how they're going to effect everyone.

You do not have to try ability changes to see how they will be different. Yes, the new Classes maybe be effective in a different way, but that is not what Yoshida told us he was going to do. It is easy to see how these changes will effect the overall performance of any given class and their balance in combat.
The reason they were posted in advance is so that we might discuss how we feel about the direction of the changes so that the Development team might have the chance to make adjustments before they are implemented. Just because you want to wait and see doesn't mean we all have to just wait and see. The development team doesn't want us to wait and see. They want us to talk about it now.
No, it's not that easy to see since there is still a LOT of stuff we do not know about the rest of the game. There are more things we don't know than we do know.
Case in point:

For the most part all the pre-patch theorycrafting and complaining on these forums has turned out to be wrong more than right.
The only thing we ever really predicted accurately was that Thaumaturge and Archer were gonna get nerfed, since that was so glaringly obvious.
Not so say that you shouldn't voice your opinion. You should. Just don't dismiss others' opinions so casually, especially when so many people are saying the same thing to you.

My Threads: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/s...vBForum_Thread
I have not dismissed anyone's opinion. I have in fact already retracted my stance on the lancer overhauls because someone made a reasonable claim in their favor. I have simply defended my opinions. Most of these people who have argued against me have blatantly dismissed the possibility that any of these changes could have significant negative effects. No, it's not that easy to see since there is still a LOT of stuff we do not know about the rest of the game. The point of this thread was to point out specific class changes that I believe in my opinion will do more harm than good. Most people who have commented against me have only done so with insults. Very few people have argued for a specific change.
Finally, right or wrong is irrelevant. The point of this forum is to discuss possibilities. If something might be bad, we need to bring that concern to the attention of the development team. Trolling every person who brings up a possible negative repercussion will not help. You have to have rational discussion to trade information. We are not argue to be right or wrong, w are arguing to make our thought known.
