

hey, I wasn't the one who brought up meteors and chocobos now was I?no what you was saying. was that a archer moving while pulling a bow as un-realistic. what i am saying. is real does not come into a fantasy game. proof can be found in the up coming world killer, that will change the look of the world yet leave us all alive

What I have shown you is reality. What you remember, that is the illusion.

I don't understand why ARC having auto attack is a bad thing.. People complain that it will shoot at unwanted times, but really all you have to do is hit the Esc key and you stop auto attacking, hit enter to start again. I do it all the time with other classes to cease auto attacking. Maybe some common sense should be considered before claiming such things.

i would love to see these implementation in-game then make wild accusations on these said changes


I believe in the 2.0 pdf, there is an eruption something sinster coming out from Eorzea, but there is also a meteor that will hit. I'm thinking (opinion speculation w/e) The meteor will destroy the surface of Eorzea much like how the meteor that hit the Yucatan peninsula effed up earth a bit ^^, but the new Eorzea is coming from this activity from underneath us.


ehm. am i the only one who thought, that the posted skill list from the news was not complete? i mean spells like banish, poison, bio, paralyze are not in there. or am i wrong?
i dont think that they will cut these abillities from those classes. the list isnt just complete

i think it's complete for the most part, with the exception of the effect of "traits" on those listed abilities. Though, I guess perhaps there's also the chance of a new mage class/job in time for 1.21 which could possess all the enfeebs we were so obviously stripped of.
+ 1 for ARC AA btw. If the best arguments against it are "unwanted attacks" (the same issue every other class/role would have in every other MMO/RPG -- just press ESC, turn around/face away from target, disengage, drop target, etc) and the "LOLrealism an ARC must come to a complete stop and pause every time in order to fire an arrow"... then I wouldn't worry about it. ARC AA is otw.

15 actions per class, Go count the listings. That's what were getting in .20 this is the new class structure 15 native actions with the ability to cross class in 10.
Given the descriptions its safe to say some spells have been pulled out of the player castable list. The enfeebling spells, Shell, **** Spikes. We will not be with out some of the enfeebling effects but it will require the use of the combo system to place them on our enemy. It is not a large leap to say that what is being removed will be put back in our hands eventually in the form of "New" casting classes.or do you think SE removed protect, shell, stoneskin, shockspikes, poison, bio etc. which you cant see within the list? well i dont think so.. paralyze etc. will be still in the game.
Once again go count out the actions. each one lists 20 skills, 15 class 5 job. The things missing from the listing is the action names, what level they are obtained, and any mp/tp costs.

Perhaps they haven't decided on names for the new skills, or haven't come up with accurate translations for the Japanese names. Those kinds of things can be programmed into the code within 10 minutes, so logically they can be some of the last things to be implemented.
As for enfeebles, as the above person said, check the combos, a lot of them have enfeebles as a proc for executing them properly. THAT will be how we enfeeble the mob, at least until we get red/green mage.
