May be adding some sound when there's aggro loss would make thing easier for some ?
Or adding that little red circle next to the mob's floating health bar ? Something like the threatplate addon ?

As many others said, on a PLD, threat isn't a problem at all, on a dungeon boss fight you can easily keep aggro with just a roh combo and spend the rest of the fight on sword oath.
And from what I've played with other tanks, I don't think they should have multi aggro problem (unleash and dominate give so much threat...)

once you have the mindset of "spam flash"
I can confirm that was hard for me... especially when the other two tanks have such flashy moves like unleash and dominate !
Not to mention the animation and the sound of flash are so uncool !
I felt the same with holy spirit : I hate that part of the rotation, feels so dumb to be a caster with swords and shield :/

The issue is that the better tanks get annoyed at having to do the extra work not being done by others.
Fixing other peoples mistakes is fine, as everyone likes to help contribute usually, but the problem is, you give an inch, ppl take a mile.
It's now the norm to have RDMs main heal and do all the rezzing, because healers wanna spam stone and watch netflix.
Tanks have to fix the DPS mistakes, and ppl stop attempting to fix their own mistakes, as they know the tank will do it.
"get gud" to the person who's not the one needing to improve.

As a RDM, I popped all my stuff, and for some reason I tabbed to the wrong mob in the distance, right after the WAR double steel cycloned.
I brought the mob(s) back to the WAR, since I knew they were left using overpower.
I popped lucid, and the primary taget I had the most dmg on, was just outside of overpowers reach, and lucid wasnt enough of a threat drop.
(I was still doing my AoE burst, so I was still gaining threat)
The WAR adjusted and fixed my mistake.
The other DPS went off on the WAR.
I said, it was my mistake, not hers/his.
They tried to fix my mistake, which isnt their job to fix my mistakes, its MY job to fix my mistakes, they were being nice helping me.

The other DPS kept nagging the tank the whole time, the ENTIRE run after that.
And thats pretty much what Im used to as tank, except the other DPS always refuses to admit their mistakes, and actually joins in on the other DPS nagging.
(Its almost always a DPS who just doesnt grasp whos at fault for a situation, due to always being spoiled by those going out of their way to fix the mistakes made by the same DPS)

As for the lesser tanks, ive usually just sat them down and talked to them, and 75% of the time, they look to improve, where as 25% of them either dont understand english, or have just turned off PT chat and dont respond.
(I also turn off PT chat when Im tanking, just because ppl say the most stupid of stuff, and holding perfect hate, always having a CD up, and turning off tank stance of boss fights, and pulling more than 1 group when the group can handle it, just still isnt enough for 50% of my groups)
I also dont tank anymore, because its no longer fun enough to outweigh peoples unreasonable nagging, where as i used to love how DRK played in 3.x

Yep, Flash gotta be one of the most boring moves in the game, and since you are so dependent on it on multi-pack pulls, it is no wonder PLD who dungeon often are going stir-crazy about using it.

I only lose threat if I don't want it. Like when dealing with pushy pugs who think they should do my pulls for me.

If I'm tanking (60+), and AOEing, and you're a DPS who is single targeting or decide you want to fire off a big ability from the get go:

    1) You're doing it way wrong, and being inefficient.

    2) If you do happen to grab aggro, which does happen from time to time, I'm going to let him smack you for a while before I get him back.

Not the new norm by any means, although I've had a few pretty poor tanks lately that do nothing to re-gain aggro if they lose it.

On an unrelated rant, over the past month or so levelling PLD (I main RDM) I've noticed a lot of shit-poor DPS can't seem to grasp the concept of waiting until the tank has actually finished pulling before spamming AOEs. They of course draw aggro and then run around the instance like a retarded chicken while I'm expected to chase them and pull the mobs back or something. The kind of people that make it impossible to do big pulls and then complain when you don't do big pulls.

If you're intentionally being difficult to work with, wanting the tank to pull lots of mobs but deliberately drawing aggro because you've somehow misunderstood your role in the party, you can tank it. Looking at you, fellow RDMs.
