I like the sound of all of these except the Demi Bahamut change being limited to other players. Bahamut blocks too much of my view when it is out making it easy to miss AoE telegraphs or having waste time fiddling with camera angles to find targets.
- Summon cast time will be shortned to 3 seconds, MP usage will go down.
- DWT will be adjusted to include the following: When in DWT, Tri-Bind potency increase by 100, Bind effect will be totally gone, and AoE. Ruin III will not have cast time.
- Ruin III replaces Ruin I, Ruin IV replaces Ruin II, Ruin IV will have no cast time (Instant)
- Devotion now buffed to include all party members as long as they are around the pet.
- Demi Bahamut is resized from the other player side instead. Meaning if they don't like your Bahamut size they can change it themselves.

The change is client side, if you use the command your own bahamut and every other bahamut will look small to you, but will look big for those who didn't use the command.
Anyone can choose how they want to see bahamut.
Might just be a poor translation as "other players" implies to me that it doesn't apply to the Summoner. So I will keep my hopes up and just wait to see.
Just because you don't enjoy it doesn't mean that it is invalid. PVP is new PVP if it is mechanically different (which RW very much is), and FFXIV is a theme park MMO intended to give something for everyone. You see "barely anyone will do it" whereas I see "finally those players who enjoy a challenge finally have a single piece of content that they can enjoy" (since raiding has been made easier). Oh, and to put your opinion into perspective, a very small number of players (far less than will do ultimate most likely) will have a house in Shirogane but you don't see people complaining and calling the decision to implement it "off". Patch 4.1 has a good mix of content for everyone, it is hardly empty.
As for losing a dungeon, I am happier with this structure of dungeons now than I am with 3.0s, given that the roulette will likely have 3 dungeons in it rather than two. Despite losing a dungeon every gear cycle, I think it will feel like we have more than HW, and if we get more content like ultimate and rival wings (and squadron dungeons, erueka, lost canals updates, perform etc.) on top of that, then I am very happy.
Also: To anyone complaining about this patch, remember that this is only 3.5 months after the expansion, not 5 months like 3.1 was.
I saw a different translation that made it sound the way that Alimdia is describing:
"Bahamut size command will be prepared, they intended to let the summoner customize the bahamut size but then it'd turn into a fight between people wanting to make it bigger, so they made a viewer-side setting" - FFXIV reddit discord unofficial live translation

Then change it on your end. The slider/ability to change the size is personal for each person. That is all they meant by what they said. If player A thinks he is too big on their end they can make him appear smaller on their end while it will not effect how player B sees Bahamut. This way the SMNer who likes a big Bahamut can keep him that way on their screen and the rest of the party can have him appear small on their screens.
It's worded that way since they don't want SMN players to feel obligated to make Bahamut-egi micro sized if they enjoy his current form. Other players can't harass a SMN to shrink it for their sakes, despite his size very much causing issues like you listed, especially if you have more than one in a party.
So, I can keep my giant Bahamut for the visual satisfaction and easy read on his auto-attacks and bursts, while you don't need to worry about eating an AoE you couldn't see because Bahamut is just too damn big. Everbody wins!
That's why I said poor translation. It would have been more concise to say all players will now be able to independently set the size of Bahamut they see. It's worded that way since they don't want SMN players to feel obligated to make Bahamut-egi micro sized if they enjoy his current form. Other players can't harass a SMN to shrink it for their sakes, despite his size very much causing issues like you listed, especially if you have more than one in a party.

- Main Scenario(Solo)
- 1 Dungeon(4 man Easy)
- 24man Raid(24 man Normal/Difficult)
- Ex Primal(8man challenging)
- Unending Coil, Ultimate Bahamut(8 man Extreme)
- New Housing Zone(Vanity)
- Squadron Adventures(Solo)
- New Beast Tribe(Solo)
- Hildibrand Story(Solo)
- New Custom Delivery(Solo)
And in 4.15 we get
- MOBA PvP mode(PVP)
- Bard Perform ? (Vanity)
If you look at it with the above () you can see why the patch feels a bit lackluster.
Though you did miss the new treasure maps which is 4-8man content but seems to learn towards 8man content.
Basically though it just feels like each challenge tier is being stretched out to only have 1 of it's type each patch, so it doesn't leave much for players to challenge themselves with.
Then you have to look at it from the whole perspective, for an MMO they focus heavily on introducing all this solo content while only providing multiplayer content in a small handful.
On the contrary, I would actually wager that the ones griping about this patch are the ones that do have everything at max level. A profile like that is indicative that you spend a TON of time playing the game, and devour fresh content like a Tasmanian devil. But that might not necessarily be true either. It's tough to know exactly how much of the game a player has experienced based off of their profile alone. If you look at mine, you would probably think I've been through most of HW when in fact, I just started 3.1.Um... his character contradicts literally everything you said. He has multiple level 70's, including gatherers and crafters, and several level 70 combat jobs. Is his argument suddenly invalid unless everything is level 70? No. No it is not. You only need one level 70 in a given job type to understand what the content available has to offer.
Bad argument, and you should feel bad for even attempting to use it.
The way I see it is if you're griping about a patch before it hits, especially before the official patch notes are released, it really doesn't matter how much or how little you have at max level. You have simply become uninterested in what the game has to offer and it might be time to take a break. The devs can't make everyone happy, and they most certainly can't churn out fresh content as fast as people eat it up. So either slow the eff down, explore other things the game has to offer, or take a break. It's absolutely ludicrous to say this is an empty patch.
I'm actually bothered quite a bit by what we're getting mainly because they said they were removing a dungeon from the odd patches to give us "new and unique content" like Eureka and then Eureka gets pushed back to 4.2. So where's the 'new and unique' content that the dungeon was cut for? It isn't Ultimate Coil - because they said that wasn't something they were cutting content down for.
I refuse to believe that it's the PVP mode because we've gotten what, 5 or 6 other PVP modes between 2.0 and 4.0 without them stripping dungeons from the patch content.
So what gives - what's the reasoning?
Like, if the dev team is gonna strip content from patches because they're overwhelmed by the amount of work they're currently doing - then just SAY that. I'm certain the players will understand. It's really frustrating to be told we're having content stripped from patches to accommodate other content, but then that content STILL gets pushed back or delayed.
