Can Red Mage aoe be less boring?

Samurai has very strong aoes. It just drains their TP within a few gcds. But in those gcds they melt enemies.

Thats exactly my point. The costs are extremly high and you'll be pretty often out of TP. RDM does a bit less dmg but will never stop doing aoe's because he doesn't have any mana issues.
