I definitely agree with you Moose! 1.0 Gridanian society was so much different to what we have in ARR it makes me wonder just how much is still canon and what has been quietly handwaved or retconned away.

Most importantly, I want to know what happened with Duncan and Khrimm, what happened to Khrimm's parents and their 'secret mission' they were willing to be labelled as pariahs to provide a cover story for, the elementals and woodsin playing a more major role in how the spoken races interact with the forest, whether it was an Ascian attacking the Wood Wailers to stir up trouble, how Yda and Papalymo were able to capture Duncan with little effort.

All these things are big question marks to me and I would love to see them resolved or at least given some form of closure eventually.

This too! Although not really lore connected 1.0 armour designs did have a certain utility to them that current armour designs have eschewed in favour of bizzare, even alien, styling, to the game's detriment. I especially miss plain tabards without those silly breastplates and shoulderpads - I'm glad I still have my old dated ones with that basic design but not being able to dye them is an issue. But really, just some new basic armour that is nice looking but not over the top would be a change of pace.
