    The ability to micromanage cards is what makes a good AST a good AST. Balance nerf wasn't caused by ASTs wanting the ability to micromanage back, sweetheart.

    To be fair, for those of us who played on controller, it wasn't easy to just right-click the status effects of Spreads, RRs, and Draws off, so we had to use macros. The three skills isn't anything different from what we used before. That being said, I do like the gauge because it makes my Arcana more visible, something I can appreciate.

    You'd think, at the worst, that one could simply... right-click / cycle through their gauge's graphics for Draw, Spread, and Royal Road...

    Then we'd only have the problem of being unable to see our co-healers Cards... or any other effect in the game since subsumed by job gauges.

    I don't know if people didn't realize this but we HAD two DPS improvement cards before, or did Arrow just stop existing?

    Balance got a significant nerf and as was mentioned in numerous threads, a DPS increase trumps everything else. Balance will probably still be king of the cards.

    But was it fun gameplay for AST to have 6 cards and only care about 1 or maybe 2 depending on how many casters you had? That's why it got nerfed. Balance was too strong comparatively.

    I also have to appreciate the guy who said he wasn't gonna talk about something off topic coming in and complaining about Scholar.

    The way every AST has tried to counter this argument is that SCH has a fairy, so before someone jumps on the basic argument bandwagon, I'd like to mention: The fairy is basic healing power. No mitigation. It's also barely noticeable without the actual Scholar backing it, so it's not a fair trade when compared to ASTs shield.

    I don't mind the nerf on balance, it was just too potent and any other aoe card was just a waste.
    Now at least, we have more options. Balance is still the obvious highest boost but it's not miles away in front of Arrow.

    I like the new spear change, the card is finally usable without a discord call "Anyone needs CDR?".


    I don't know about the 10sec duration nerf. At least it will make the Bole more interesting!
    I MISS READ, THERE IS NOTHING TO WATCH

    Now the only change I would love to be implemented would be that Draw a card cooldown still runs while we have the card in hand so that every second I'm not using the card I'm not wasting my draw cooldown.

    Ewer : Now replenishes TP and MP.
    There's honestly no need for two différents cards for this kind of effect, especially that no job, but Bards and Paladin (during Heavy aoe moment), can benefit from MP + TP regen, it's one or the other. And that would hardly make the card OP.

    Spire: Increase direct hit by 20% (single) -> 10% (aoe) for 20sec.
    Yes, I was very inspired for the buff choice

    i'm sure one card will outweigh the other of our 2 dps increase cards, but i feel like now at this point discarding one in an attempt to get the other would just hurt more than casting whichever one you got.

    You forgot one last thing that Aspected Benefic does...

    It has the ability to hurt the feelings of every non-Astrologian healer with a potency of over 9000. Show me on the doll where the spell touched you...
