Odin apparently has the same issue so EU and Aether will be the only ones probably

Then stay and enjoy the queue, if staying in Balmung queue is more important to you than play on another server you have my blessing, just stop punishing us.
As I said, leaving was not easy but I won't pay 15€ a month to stay in queue, if you are willing to, fine
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
What I don't see people considering is that all the AFK players are preventing active players from getting in, active players that might actually contribute to duty queues, which might help speed up those DPS queues.
We're all already suffering because of Balmung.
I was not aware I either complained about the queue or personally punished you for staying where I am. I *expected* the queue, and planned accordingly.
They also saidReading comprehension dictates that "a" is akin to "one," therefore you can read it to say "all worlds on one data center." It's no mystery which server is actually having the issue. It's Balmung. The data center it is located on is Aether. Aether will most likely be the only data center, and its worlds, experiencing this lovely addition:No, it is not just Balmung that is having issues. We are experiencing a situation where several Worlds are consistently reaching the maximum number of players that can be logged into the game during peak hours.
Assuming there is 50-100 afk players, this would completely get rid of q times on Cactuar.
Of course this is no help to the servers that actually need it.
It's not a you "you" it's a you refering to those of Balmung that won't move and complain ^^"
(in french we have a distinction between a you for one personne and a you for a group, it's 2 different terms so it's easy to get misunderstood)

Thankfully this is a temporary thing. Honestly if they wanna play ball against afkers that are abusing the afk kicker then add a new option to report: AFK exploiter
which if you click this it causes a menu to pop up on the screen of the accused which they have 1min to click the check box "Im not afk" and then hit okay or else they get dropped even if interacting with an npc.
This would be better than ejecting everyone off all the servers.
Oh hey nothing was here
I mean, if you're gonna be sitting there afk for more than 30 minutes why not log out anyway? I get life happens but if you just wanna pose on top of a ledge for attention do so when you can actively see the responses.
Why, though?I'm not happy about this decision, but maybe it will make more people move to other servers in frustration.
If anything, what they are doing here is basically admitting all the servers are screwed up enough to need these autologout measures, so why even bother moving to another server?
