Well the real problem and why BLM damage doesn't translate into the game or SB instances very well is that Yoshi didn't do what he said he was going to do and unlock Fire IV from the Enochian cycle.

Heck if you could go straight from a Fire 3 into a Fire 4 it would be different. But you can't. So when the movement comes you end up completely hosed as a BLM.

It might change the rotation a bit if you could do things this way, but in the end it would allow BLM to actually use some of that power rather than be stuck in even worse shoes than they were in HW. Formerly the timer was still going if that happened so you could potentially start it back up or renew it with a Bliz 3 to bliz 4, but SB... once you lose your stacks its done.

Dude how bad are you? Literally all you have to do to maintain enochian is just press transpose. The CD for transpose is literally shorter than the astral fire/umbra life duration. There is absolutely 0 reason you should EVER lose enochian.

Thanks everyone for answering my questions before! I have another...

If you hit 80/80ish mana with both procs up, do you use one (since the mana cap is 100, there's some leeway before you waste mana) or do you just melee combo ASAP and overwrite a proc? If you use a proc, what do you cast with the Dualcast? Doing, for example, Fire > Thunder would mean you can't finish with Flare to possibly get your proc back, as it would unbalance mana (unless it was heavily skewed in the first place, but assuming roughly even). But Fire > Aero would possibly waste a proc regardless.

    Thanks again.

So I guess it all kinda depends on what procs you have. Firstly, I'd never waste a Dualcast. So if you're at 80/80 Mana for example with a Verstone proc, I would not just cast Verstone, and then go into melee and waste the Dualcast status effect. I'd cast Verstone > Verthunder > then go into melee. If you are at 80/80 with no procs, cast Jolt/Impact > thunder/aero to unbalance your mana and then go into melee.

Now your question is that if you have 80/80 mana with both Ready Procs. The only advantage of having your mana slightly uneven is to guarantee a proc after holy/flare. If you already have both of those procs, it doesn't matter at that point. Use your melee combo. Its the most potent of your kit, so delaying that at all is a waste. Your ready procs have 30s on them so they'll still be there after your melee combo. If you happen to get the proc from holy/flare and overwrite it, its not really doing anything since it was there anyways. You're just resetting the timer on it.

The only time this would become tricky would be lets say you have 80/80 with both procs. But Verstone only has 3 secs left and 20s left on Verfire. Now your in a position where you could potentially lose that Verstone. I would cast Verstone > Veraero > Melee > Then Verflare and reset the timer on Fire. Again, it was already there to begin with so you didn't waste anything.

If the doesn't make sense, I apologize. A lot of "Vers"

I'd use the proc and another spell with the same Mana type. It's better for you to have one mana higher than the other anyway to get 100% proc Verholy/Verflare.
It's even better if you manage to get something like 100/80 or 80/100. Since by the time you end your melee combo, you'll end up with 20-0. And then use Verholy/Verflare to make it 20/20, from there, you just need to get +20/+20 to be able to do another string of Melee combo with Manafication.

Any word on when we can expect stat weights of any kind?

Dervy pretty much quit and we have no idea if he's even going to do the weights in SB at all.

Dervy and crew have stated they are working on them. They will release another google spreadsheet like they did last xpac.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comme...hance/djawctj/

we have numbers for skill speed, crit and direct hit, but nothing for det has been released yet.

Thank you. I had no idea apart from his months old post on the 3.4 weights comments on his website. Where can I access this google doc and if I can't, where should I look when I can?
