    Not only that, but with stoneskin gone and all the abilities we have lost in sheer numbers, look back to our 1-50 kit. There is a lot there that is now missing or restricted for new players. Can you imagine running Brayflox, Qarn, Cutter's Cry, Stone Vigil, Darkhold and everyone's favorite: Aurum Vale without stoneskin and having to choose between 3 of: Cleric Stance, Protect, Esuna, Lucid Dreaming and Swiftcast for the first three? A new player is probably not going to think to switch them out on the fly... if they even know that they're there and can use them.

    Glad you brought it up, so I don't ha e to shamelessly repost my idea, though I'd suggest it being potency based, cappes by lillies. HP bases is a little OD on War (Despite how hilariously high the HP value would get). Can't think of potencies off the dome right now, but in essence.

    0 Lillies = A few Regen ticks worth
    1 Lily = Cure
    2 Lillies = More than Cure but less than Cure 2
    3 Lillies = Cure 2.

    Usage of lillies should cause a slow degradation back to level 0 temp HP. Have HP numbers turn blue when Bubble'd. This would be a huge buff, and only require a change in code and maybe a new icon (Just jazz up fluid Aura lol)

    This would be enough to almost make me not upset that the job's lost abilities weren't replaced with more iconic skills and magic. Almost. Tho that would be a 4.x patch thing (Time, resource, and current meta balance would be needed to know what can and should be added.

    They have just posted some previews of the new PVP skill system and it's very interesting as they used WHM to show it off: http://jp.finalfantasyxiv.com/pr/blog/002066.html

    English version will be coming later, but you can see that the lily system is integrated fully with the PVP skills which have big adjustments to how they work compared with PVE. Even the recast of Protect scales with lilies (it has a 40sec recast in the new PVP system and actually cuts PVP damage properly) and Benediction/Fluid Aura are scaled similarly.

    I spam Cure spells like a thing possessed in PVP so this system is potentially interesting. It doesn't make up for the disaster of PVE, of course.

    It could be sort of annoying if they have as even more things will wipe the lilies, while they don't give any additional sources for gaining them. For example, the new PVP version of Protect lasts for 10 seconds with a 40 second recast and 10/25/50% recast time reductions depending on the number of lilies, but the whole stack of lilies is wiped when you use it. It's become a short term tactical buff. Adding Benediction to the pool is sort of interesting. Also, I wouldn't mind a (separate) short term tactical buff in PVE too to compensate for the removal of Stoneskin...

    It does mean I might actually use my WHM in SB after all though, even if it's PVP-only :/

    well, that sucks...because....I don't like to PVP. nothing against those that do, but...PvP adds nothing to my gaming experience. my experience is in the 4-8-24man content. I suppose it's great for those that PvP...hopefully they fix something with PvE for WHM.

    I like how Lillies are being implemented into PvP. Where you actually use Cure I and Cure IIs more often. I also like the 50% CDR as a Band-Aid fix, and I also Like how protect is PvP Mitigation. PvP Whm looks so much better then its PvE counterpart. I would still like some more free control of Lillies but PvP Whm looks like its in a really strong place.

    I just hope the Lily mechanic is fined tuned for Raiding, and Casual content as well. If you still only get Lilies from Cures then I don't know if we would even get more then 1 or 2 Lillies in dungeons. As for CDR its still meh.

    Now my only concern for PvP Whm is how will they handle burst passed 10 seconds. Schs got faeries for easy healing and a Gcd Aldo and Succors and Astros got a instant shield (if its 300% jfc).
    Before you could Stoneskin as a gcd, or Presence Stoneskin. You could also Stoneskin everyone before a fight.

    I'm honestly disappointed with the healer situation. SE claimed to want to balance the healers, but it seems clear that one is coming out above the rest (AST) while another seems fairly subpar (WHM). SCH sits awkwardly between the two. I was excited to hear that Cleric Stance was gone so that I could DPS even more reliably, but then I saw healers were losing a fair amount of DPS skills. Then the WHM changes were revealed and I was super disappointed. The AST changes rubbed me the wrong way, as well, because it's like SE feels they have to cater to the job just because it was weak at the beginning of Heavensward.

    I have all three healers at 60, but I don't have much interest in leveling any of them right now. Mostly because I'm just disappointed in how things have gone. Especially since, unless the new content will be dishing out way more damage, healers are going to be really boring to play.To be honest, I didn't like WHM for a long time. I played AST a lot and SCH the most. But recently I started to love playing WHM and was looking forward to leveling it first in Stormblood... Until I saw the changes.
