Look, I've made my thread, but here's my two cents on the topic.

Astrologian does not need much of what it's receiving in Stormblood. Astrologian would've been perfectly fine with the new skills, perhaps excluding what we're currently seeing from Earthly Star, and the values we currently have.

The only people lusting after the AST we're currently seeing in Stormblood are extremely AST loyalist.

As for you, the fact that you're not willing to listen to the worries of the other two healer types proves you learned nothing from 3.0 AST. 4.0 Endgame is not the worry. We have months before that. You are lashing out because AST used to be weak. As an AST main, I can't stand for this "let the other healers drown" behavior.

Please show me where I said that? Please? I'm pretty sure I even said they probably need to re-examine WHM so it's on par with both AST and SCH for 4.0 launch already in this thread. I also said AST doesn't need some of the buffs it's getting because AT THE MOMENT IN TIME we do not need them. BUT if content proves otherwise, since we really have no insight in endgame at all for 4.0... well who knows till we get there. Dungeons and open world is one thing, Savage, Ex, etc is another.

So please make sure you're reading my posts, because I never turned a blind eye to either healer, but personally WHM discussions have devolved into nothing but bad at the moment. So I try to avoid actual WHM topics. But I do agree something needs to be done to bring up the other healers to AST's level.

You like to keep demanding quotes but I don't believe anyone has asked for a pre-Stormblood nerf. There's also no "on par with WHM and SCH," the only way a SCH can outheal this SB-AST is by getting a Crit-Adlo and using Deployment, and with the DPS nerf SCH is receiving, the buff uptime from two ASTs is looking more and more ideal.

I see you demanding a lot from people arguing with you but you're offering absolutely no constructive criticism at all, you've just either quoted other people or gotten snarky with people who stated their opinions.

The only reason people don't want AST so megabuffed is because healing is so simple you can literally watch Netflix if you're just healing. If other healers are brought up to that level, I'm done with it. That's boring. No one wants healers at that level.
