If you lower regen potency, you're just going to reduce the cast frequency on my Stone and Aero. I'm still going to be using regen so that I can use Stone and Aero instead of Cure.
Hint: HoTs are efficient for their opportunity cost because they take time to achieve their potency. Bursts are less efficient because they are instant.
If you make a Hot (or a DoT) that is barely more efficient than a burst with the same opportunity cost (or LESS efficient for some ridiculous reason???), then they may as well not exist.

Agreed HoTs have to remain most potency/MP and potency/gcd efficient in order to remain pertinent in any game. HOWEVER do the math on AST HoTs to instant heals gcds. Their ratios are much worst than WHM's.... they could still make ours worstHint: HoTs are efficient for their opportunity cost because they take time to achieve their potency.

AST in this situation sets the baseline for what we really need. Everything that WHM can do on top of that in terms of healing is wasted mp, wasted time, and wasted raid damage.
I......as a true WHM.... loathe the idea that a hybrid class that suppose to be COPYING US.....would be OUR BASELINE for anything!!!![]()
I'm of the opinion that it shouldn't be a hybrid job at all. Both Secs should be completely removed. AST shields, if any, shouldn't be anywhere near SCH's. It's identity should have just been providing buffs to the party with cards. I think the lord and lady card mechanics is pretty good. That should defiantly stay
