AA) It's easily done just like Mide and her lover (Alexander line) or Livia and her unrequited love for Gaius. Or the general rampant amount of sexual innuendo. It's really not that hard.

Funnily, the casual drop of that kind of "representation" caused massive rage against BioWare by those represented, and forced them to change a character dialogue to quell the flames. Because when it's not there, people complain, and when it's there, they complain that it's not enough or done well enough.

B) That there's quite a bit of anti-queer/anti-QUILTBAG sentiment expressed in this thread. "How dare you assume their gender!!?!1" meme. The general assumption and assertion that those who are genderqueer or do not fit the gender binary (Intersex, nonbinary, genderfluid) are just trying to be 'special snowflakes'.

It's not a meme. The overwhelmingly vast majority of the characters in the game don't show or express any gender identity or sexual preference, allowing the player to just think of them whatever they want. It's simply a fact.
