I don't care that Aymeric and Haurchefaunt are interested in the WoL. I'm just pointing out that there's already LGBTQ support in the mainstory when the mainstory isn't really about that and there's no heterosexual equivalent, so demanding for more lgbtq representation is, perhaps, greedy.

While I grant your Haurchefant interest in the WoL and that there doesn't seem to be a similar character who is female with any flirting with the WoL, Aymeric has never shown anything of the like. He seems more aromantic than romantically interested in anyone. Least of all Lucia, who is interested in him.

Because those are the pairings and characters that the developers saw fit to create and design.

They were not created for the sake of any agenda, they were created because the developers imagined them so and are part of the story as they envisioned, designed and intended them to be.

However, what this thread (and others like it) is doing IS agenda pushing, it IS to ask the developers to introduce and create characters whose only differing value from those they would have otherwise created is their sexual preference representation/inclusion.

Having a new LGBTBBQFTW character shoehorned into the story does NOTHING to enrich the story or bring a new and interesting twist, it´s just there so a few people can go "Yay, gay like me".

There is a very big difference.

And furthermore, this is not just about the MQ and the LGBT community.

I think a lot of people are just tired of being unable to have even ONE GAME where people just let the game be the way it is and do not try to turn it into some kind of omniinclusive progressive black lives matter social soup.

Back in the day, games used to be a form of escapism and now it feels like some people feel the need to use them as a spearhead platform to champion causes and social groups.

It gets tiring after a while, even when you support the core idea behind the demands.

I will agree to disagree with you that it is agenda pushing. As I said, it's not hard or laborious to write so. It's just people are not OPEN to even thinking about them.

I think it is asking people to be more open to thinking about it. Do you really think when writers create characters that they think about grand romance? Every single one of those characters could easily be queer without it having it having had an impact on their design. There's plenty of shitty writers who try to make a grand spectacle of it and ruin the game for everyone but I believe that the team has plenty of great writers.

I'm assuming you're not a foodie or you only know how to romance through dinners? I've been to many 2-seat only table dining at well dressed candle lit dinners and they have no interest whatsoever in getting into my pants and neither do I. We just want to relax and have a good time and enjoy a friend's company. We don't want or need to bone each other to do that.

Edit: And I don't even know how else the dinner would be lit? Every single candle has to be lit in that room or else it'd be in the dark? And all the light sources were lit? Should they have been eating in the dark?

Exactly! Aymeric sees you as a dear friend whom he cherishes the most because as a WoL, we have done a ton of effort for killing Nidhogg and uniting Ishgard with the Dravanians. This is why Aymeric has Ishgard supporting the other 3 main city-states with the Alliance against the Garleans. Aymeric mentions multiple times that he sees you as a dear friend and like a sibling several times in the MSQ.
