Will the real Leviathan please stand up?

To say the least, the sea serpet in the limsa intro doesn't have that finesse- those sharp angles, and slick look that make the leviathan look deadly, even more underwater.

but isnt that what the old FF14 team did all the way wrong?

no typical final fantasy features, no final fantasy style ingame? no typical final fantasy jobs?

so this isnt really an argument... really.

It might do justice to "tradition" but it does injustive to creativity and imagination. Final Fantasy might differ from title to title, but creativity has always been a staple, consistent throughout the series. Resting on tradition is boring. The "original leviathan" as I shall refer to him as was much more inspired than the new predictable cliche one. Ugh.

Boring. Wake me up when this FF8 re-enactment is over so I can play a new, inspired, creative FF title instead of hackneyed remake.

i know what you mean, but i neither like the old design (if its really Levi) nor the new one for 100%. the old one was for me way too realistic. it looked like a koi fish to me.. it was not bad, but not art design enough for me.

whereas the new one has the artistic design, not that realistic... but also we saw those kind of leviathan appearance in FF8, FF11 before. almost in the same style
well lets see.

i think levi will be revealed after garuda and titan..im so excited to see the first artworks to shiva (which wont be in the near future).. because shiva is my alltime favourite. and she always was the summon with the biggest differences in appearance through the ff series. im looking forward to see her in FF14
